Here are two builds of mine with Matt barrels. I am very happy with them.
If you do get some other barrel types, I'm in.

The problem is guys, this is a Military Contractor. He is building firearms for the Military for shipment overseas.
He builds the series which takes the barrel am able to get.

He has no intention any time soon changing over to other types, as that is not what they want for the contracts.

I am getting the over runs of their production. The barrels continue to be the excellent quality many of you are seeing. I just get a few this week and then the next. Only if they have left over.

Thanks again to all those who have purchased from me.

I have/bought one of the barrels, and I am impressed, the pricing is fantastic, compared to what is being advertised out there. Other than changing the types of barrels, or process, is it possible they can come gas drilled for different length systems?

The issue with changing the port location is much more then just drilling the hole in a different location.
The CNC program would have to be changed to account for the different diameter for where the port would be on say a mid length.
It wouldnt be a M4 profile with the gas port mid-length.

I have responded to all pms... Thanks for the interest.
Let me know if you need one.

Matt P... Bringing barrels your way, super fast, with excellent quality.. Winners choose Matt P barrels!

Vinz, .... Now that is getting very very cool. Side Charging handle, full length free float, and the Vltor Stock... Way too cool.
All you need is some Magpul back up irons...
I just orderd a bunch, I really like them.

Great look.. Its my opinion that is the way to go. Full length for lots of room for grip and stuff to mount!
Keep it going my ninja... Very nice..

Matt P, barrels, barrels and more barrels. We are crazy with barrels. We gots barrels everywhere. Come on down and check out our barrels. Easy and quick financing, low terms, moving them off the lot as fast as we can.
We are your last stop shop for barrels. I'll consider standing on my head to sale you a barrel!

All the rest of the parts I need are en route from various locations. Changed the parts list from your rifle somewhat, but a similar look at any rate. Hopefully everything will be here this week..... the waiting is KILLING me.

My shipping is excellent. Check my Itraders for my very fast shipping.
I am proud to have been able to be a small part for many of you with your builds.
As always, I thank you and the forum here for allowing me to hook so many of you up.
I did a CGF contribuition early on.
I will be doing another next week in further appreciation for allowing me to sale the barrels here in this thread to you.

I am here to serve.

thanks for the pix!

For the most part... do low profile gas blocks fit under most rails?

Im looking for one with a clamp down design as opposed to the setscrew.

Dread, you are a madman my friend..Excellent job on your efforts.
Nice selection of uppers indeed...

Vinz, very clean. The ACOGs are incredible. I think everyone should own at least one. The glass is SUPER clear. I have TA01NSN that I just couldnt part with. Nice Crane stock. I also love this design. Very clean looking.

Low Profile gas blocks should fit under the handguards. Just be careful with the clamp design.. I am unaware of that type that will fit under handguards.

I have more barrels my friends. Super fast shipping as always..

Another very nice and well thought out look.
The adavantage of the 12" rails or mid length, are with your back up Irons and the longer sight profile.
Untill we can lawfully own SBRs, I love the full length look. Less barrel poking out, and Lots of area for us gear queers, and Tacticool guys to mount loads of useful stuff.
Looks like time to show you what can be mounted with loads of room...

Hey matt... what brand of backpack is used to carry the Sears Diehard deep cycle marine battery power source? Or is it all solar?

Also, it looks like there still a spot left for an infared illuminator... unless I missed seeing it....

Would never had thought one of those "directional lead expellers" could handle the weight.

Finally, I took the images on building your own upper. Now I am using a Knights 12" Rail Free Float Tube, PRI Gas Block, and a OPS Commercial Brake.

The parts I am starting with.

First a REAL good cleaning of my barrel. This is a 18" Barrel that is specially designed for the MK12 series. The barrel has been relieved for the set screws on the PRI series blocks, and they also feature the stop for the OPS shoulder, collar for other OPS products.
The barrel is new, but I still do a cleaning. Its the easiest time to do it. I have polished the extension, paying careful attention to the feedramps.

I use a one piece rod, I should only be using coated rods. I will patch it first.

Next I will brush it, making sure to remove the brush before bringing the rod back through. I dont want to mess with the crown.
I kkep patching and brushing until I am convinced the barrel is clean. 3-4 Runs with the brush, followed by patches with some Butchs on it.

Barrel is clean. Now, I will vise up the upper reciever. and then spread some anti seize grease on the extension. I have had some barrels be near impossible to remove from the recievers.

Upper Building continued.....

I now will slide the barrel into the reciever. See the pin on top, there is a hole on your reciever where that goes. Head Space????? I dont need No stinkin head space gauges or checking that!.. Simply put, there is no easy way to adjust it anyways. Silde in the extension, and but your barrel nut on.

The KAC rail, so I have to put the collar on in front of the barrel nut.

Tighten that bad boy down... This DPMS tool makes it easy.. Torque values???
I just tighten it enough so that my gas tube hole is centered up.

Lined up...

Alright lets tackel the gas block and tube.
I use the needle nose to hold the roll pin. That plastic block helps a tone.

Building an Upper Continued..

There it is properly on the gas tube. Make sure your gas tube has the vent hole towards the bottom. We need that to transfer the burnt gas to the bolt carrier.

Now I am going to use some blue locktight to bed my gas block..

Building an upper continued.

Now I am going to put some more Ol Blue on my set screws for my gas block.

Sliding it on. make sure it straight, and check the amount of space on both sides of the gas tube where it contacts the reciever. This will help you keep it straight up and down.

Now, we will slide on the handguard.

Tightened down, we are almost finished.
