That is a perfect AK 47. I would go without the front grip because I like that grippy hogue fore end.
Everyone's different but I use my mag for a front grip to pull it in tight.
I want one just like that. VERY COOL

Thanks man, I appreciate it. It's a Century WASR-10 that I bought in 2004, right after the AWB sunset. I pad around $300 for it. The finish is pretty rough and the front sight block is canted. But the guys at Century compensated by tapping the sight post to the right. They even marked the front sight post and sight block with a line in case the front sight post were to get knocked out of place. It even came with targets they zeroed it on. My first time shooting it I was bouncing a coffee can up a hill at about 80-100 yards out with iron sights. Due to health reasons I still haven't zeroed in my red/green dot. I'm anxious to see how well it holds up.

Does anyone know if the Arsenal SLR107 is legal to own in CA?
http://www.k-var.com/shop/SLR107-68-SKU17976.html

it's the closest thing I can find to the AK104, my newest obsession, other than building one:

SLR is banned by name, so is SLG. SGL, however, is gtg. Wish KVAR would simply rename it an SRL.... but I guess they don't want our money?

Yes, I would love one too.

Yeah, Marco/Marxdspot is one hell of a builder. The finish on it is so nice and the rivets are perfect! I had this for sale and the buyer disappeared. I'm kinda glad it didn't sell. I'll use this as a benchmark for future builds.

My first AK and hopefully not my last. Got this with the assistance of SJgunguy24 (great guy, anyone needing help with a build in the San Jose area should send him a message!) and has functioned flawlessly the two range trips out.

My wife wrapped it up in paracord and I picked up a buttpad for comfort. I'll most likely redo the wood handguard and look for a red dot and red dot mount (any recommendations? TWS dog leg etc) and call it a day. Oh and find some decent mags for it to replace my craptastic blocked 30rnd tapco and ammo.

Have to admit its a fun gun and probably my favorite out of my rifles so far, my wife also seems to enjoy it much more then my m&p sport.

Just fitted this Burris FastFire II on my AMD. It's anchored to an Attero Arms Rail Mount:

I refinished my AK using the color that the Russians like to use, which is denatured alcohol mixed with garnet dewaxed shellac:

It took me almost a yr to get my AK built.

Romanian ak47 kit with original barrel, matching serial numbers except the bayonet, original furniture finished in russian red. The HG is not orignal, i still have the original HG but didn't like the forward grip.

G2 trigger
Hogue grip
