Angry On my way back from the BBM shoot today I was DETAINED for 3 hours!

I do not want to post all the details at this time until I have talked to "the Right People". (PM me please guys)

I will say that it involved at least 2 separate LEO agencies possibly more... I have video of the initial contact that led to a 3 HOUR+ detention most of which was in cuffs! I am still too shaken right now to go into detail but I will say that ALL my property is still in my possession and I am home now.

Thanks for listening guys I will post the vid if I get the OK.

I know that the the BBM shoots occasionally go hand in hand with drama, so I'm glad to hear that this wasn't worse. Do let us know when the video is cool for viewing.

Are we talking about Panoche Hills? Are we talking type-of-firearm issues, or where you were shooting? Or issues of other conduct?

This was no where near Broke Back Mountain. I was the last one to leave and did not see anyone being pulled over.

Enthusiast, call me.

THIS WAS NO WHERE NEAR THE BROKE BACK MOUNTAIN SHOOTING AREA. THE OP SAID THAT HE GOT PULLED OVER ON HIS WAY HOME BUT NOT NEAR THE BBM AREA, MAYBE ABOUT 10 MILES AWAY FROM BBM EITHER ON I-5, I-8, I-805 OR CA 94.

Gracias guey, that is what happens when people start speculating people are so afraid of going to shooting nowadays and we don't want them to be scared by speculating on what went on. This could had happened to anyone driving home from any range any where in California.

Trust me Gator, Enthusiast "Does not look" that certain way nor does he drive a vehicle that would attract attention.

The best news here is that the OP made it out with his goods and his liberty intact. If there was something untoward in the nature of the stop or LEO behavior I would hope that citizen complaints will be filed to get that sorted out and dealt with appropriately.
