Default Any member here own one of these?

I've been eyeing these for awhile now. Expensive, but would be really cool to have.

Anyone here own one? How is it?

I've been drooling over OOW's 1918A3 for quite some time. It's more cool factor then anything else.

I just got mine a week ago. The thing is a beast! Weighs 22 pounds. Awesome to shoot. 180grn .30-06 in semi auto! Lights up the range every time. And best of all - it's not an OLL - drop those mags with no BB!

Let me know if you have specific questions.

Thumbs up

I have one of the A1918 models but they no longer make them. Bummer. I think OOW made only 82 of that model.
I also have the OOW 1918A3 all wood. Looks great.
Also have a 1918A3 OOW made that is chambered for .308. They dont make those anymore ither. Takes modified FAL mags.
Get one if you can afford it as the price goes up every year. Kits (Good ones) are getting harder and harder to find for OOW to build from. A blast to take to the range. Very cool.
They do sell a receiver kit but I've heard there can be some problems getting it to run correct. I would buy a complete gun. They take 50% down and the rest when it ships. Be aware it is heavy but still I wouldn't sell mine. Well maybe the one in .308 but that's the only one.

Oh yeah, if you are lucky to find one on Gunbroker they sell for over $4000.00- $5000.00 because of the back log at OOW. I did get one of mine in 6 months though.
