Well, I just helped them get rid of 2 8-gallon jugs. They said that it could take anywhere to two weeks before it gets shipped out. Well see. I also bought a bunch of primers and it was nice to see that they did not charge me another hazmat fee. I ended up spending about $530 bucks out the door. I was looking for .223 bullets but they were out. Who has them in stock?

Somebody has them in stock in bulk, cheap too. However, I don't know if I'm ready to release the link.

Graf's has PRVI Partisan 75gr BTHP for $125.91 per 1000 ($107.91 dealers).

Graf's has Hornady 75gr BTHP for $76.99 (dealers) per 600, which is why I try to buy when they have it in stock.

And Powder Valley is selling Lapua 77gr Scenars for $206 per 1000, which is a great price. I bought 2000 of those a couple weeks ago.

When I saw Varget, I assumed the heavier weight bullets were what people wanted.

I just ordered 4k of .223 from this guys, they said that they have close to half a million on stock. and I ordered another 6k of mixed .223 and .308 from the link that Mecam provided me. Will not post that one because that is Mecams secret shopping area.

BTW, the guy from the below website told me that they were having problems with their website but that the had about half a million of .223 bullets. Has anyone had any experience with their bullets?

Armscor is made in the Philippines. Never used Armscor bullets, but my people make decent shooting products. I do have an Armscor 1911. It's a solid pistol for only $350.

As far as surplusammo.com, it looks like they use Zen Cart for their e-store. I would highly recommend against using a CC on any Zen Cart based store, simply due to the notorious history of exploits and security holes. Order via phone.

Yep, I am loading 55gr bullets with 25gr for plinking and to have a decent amount loaded up and buried just in case the S hits the F.

right on, I dont have that much but I think its good enough for now haha.
I just finished tumbling about 100 rds PPU brass and its looking good.

I have a question for ya, have you tried priming LC brass?

Im using a lee auto primer and it seems to prime the brass just flush.
In the book it says it should have a slight dip but the LC brass and CCI #41 primers dont seem to go any further. is it just me or am I just too scared to push any harder?

I went to the range earlier today during lunch to test some loads that I did last night using LC brass and CCI 41 primers and they worked just fine, my rounds looked like yours. I only shot 90 rounds and they went bang without a problem. Then again, I am not loading for super accuracy, I just want to be able to hit a human size target from 50 yards to 400 yards and they worked pretty well for me. BTW, did you swage the LC brass?

Default down on some varget!

PM me 'bought all this hoopn'anny.

Geewilikers, Chief. If I had your salary, I'd be stocking up to, what with our new commander-in....... oh, wait. Not s'posed to say anything.

oh well, back to the grind of selling off all my precious belongings to afford that remington 5r.... (watch drool... oop, here it comes.... mmmmm)

ta dah! I made 650 bucks on a bike I bought for 300. he he he....

now all I have to do is get ride of that old guitar amp sittin' in the corner, and the 5r is mine, all mine. (evil laugh ensuing.)

seriously, that 5r is going to be a mighty hungry beast. let me know what the deal is for the .308 . Also, In sha' Al-Norris (as in chuck) I will have my AW-ready AR at the end of the month. Time to start looking for .223 bulk bullets and some Varget.

keep me in the loop, Chief.

definitions of the day:
collective plural of Chief Petty Officers: Gaggle of Khakis
collective plural of Seamen: Puddle

yes I did. I also found the answer to my question.
It says in my LEE manual that it should be flush or slightly below the surface.
I, we are good to go.
did you get a Chrony? I just ordered one..

No, I did a job in MX and I plan on spending that money in reloading gear plus a Bushmaster AR Pistol.

Right on. That is a negative on the Chrony yet. What are you looking at ordering?

You can get the F1 Chrony from Walmart. Works fine and only $69.

Primer question: Anyone ever use Wolf sm. rifle primers? I'm running out of my CCIs and the only ones in stock anywhere are Wolf. I'm getting worried... I'll try Wolf but has anyone ever used them, any problems? I'm down to maybe 500 CCI primers.

I don't know how up to date this is now, maybe pretty stale, but I just got some .223 factory 'blems' from Midway about three weeks ago at a good price. They were sold under Midway's brand, but they were Hornady's V-max bullets. All were perfect to my eye, except they all had canaluere rings -- the newer Hornady V-max premium bullets dropped that a while back. For my use I don't care. They were cheap.

I think they were sold as 'blems' because Hornady stopped doing the canaluere rings on their premium bullets and had these taking up space somewhere. They all were packed in pale blue plastic Midway boxes, not red Hornady cardboard boxes.
