Default S&W stamped CHP fused and torched revolvers for sale

I know hard to believe but I got a box of CHP nickel revolver and I have been practicing my cleaning techniques on them. They look darn good after 4 hours of cleaning and buffing. Own one for 50 bucks all marked CHP. Now I have no Idea what the laws rules are on these. A gun store owner gave them to me and I thought after my sweat and hard work went intro revitalizing these revolvers I would share at a small fee to buy more cleaning supplies all true so help me pics tomorrow

"Fused and torched" means that these are non-functional right?

Are these salvagable for parts? In particular the guts or have they been melted too?

If they were heated enough to melt the steel, then the grips would've run off as slag long ago. You may be able to make some grips, but who knows if regular ones you'd buy would fit.

If a big box'o'these becomes available down the road and you're interested in selling off a few that haven't been cleaned, keep me in mind. I'm actually more interested in one that's still dirty from the fire.

I cant tell from your picutre, Are they marked C.H.P. like my .38? I got this from my father (CHP Capt) when he went to the S$W 4006, I also have that gun now, along with his S&W CHP commemorative .375.

Would they clean up for just a display gun?
