Default out of work Att tech

Did you check out Comcast? I heard an ad on the radio the other day for openings... Didn't quite pay attention to the specifics- I was just surprised to hear a full blown radio ad for openings.

6172, I think my company is looking for a field tech in NorCal. This project is the FAA Telecomm. Infrastructure contract. I took their offer back in Sep. 07, and kicked myself thoroughly for not setting my exit date out a little later, since I missed the opportunity to take the buyout that they offered to us San Diego NOC people on Sep 24, 07.

I'll ask my lead if the position is still open. If so, I can forward your resume to Harris.

I started school back in April, Finished the CompTIA A+ and Im working on the Network+ stuff right now.

I looked at the usajobs website but there are looking for managers, not techs.

Anyhow, a 3 month BTT.

Last time I was looking for a job I sent out well over 100 resumes in 1 day, it was just about every electrical contractor in 50 mile radius. It took almost 2 months to get a job. After I did get the job, over the next few months I regularly got calls about the resumes I sent out months earlier.

Be patient and I wouldn't hesitate to apply for literally hundreds of positions. Also work as hard as you can on your resume and have as many knowledgeable people look at it as you can
