Default Tactical light for rail-less Sig P229?

Okay, so searches have turned up various solutions like the Surefire rail adapter that hooks up to the trigger guard, but this is for the P226.

Does anyone know of a way to attach a tactical light to an older rail-less P229? If the Surefire P226 trigger-guard adapter works on the P229, that would be fine--can anyone confirm that this works?

Thanks in advance!

I typed "P229 rail adapter" into google.com
http://www.google.com/search?q=p229+...ient=firefox-a

See first result.

I've got an Insight Tech rail adapter on my Sig P220. It's rock tight and still looks pretty sleek. I highly recommend their rail adapter.

The Insight Tech adapter for the 229 is the way to go. Also contact Surefire as they used to make one. I know because I have one somewhere. Here is a link to the Insight one.

Thanks, guys! Yeah, I guess I was googling the wrong terms, because this didn't come up. I was looking for "attaches to trigger guard" type terms. Happy New Year!
