Default Hk USP Compact vs P30 trigger ?s

Hello,
I was wondering, do any of you guys have both to compare the trigger reset between the two?

I know the P30 is pretty long but not sure about the usp compact.

And also, do any if you guys have the hk match trigger installed on a usp compact 9?

I read the match trigger can be installed in a compact but you need to keep the same trigger. I would like to know if the match has a shorter reset than the basic usp compact.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a couple HK's...but would recommend you try the HK's in person as these triggers vary. I know City arms stocks the models you mentioned and also have them in LEM.

i've never tried the match trigger but a friend says its the only way to go for a competition pistol. Many street guys like the LEM

I’ve had V3 in the P2000 and thought it was garbage. I liked the V1 in the USP a little better and from what I remember it was a little shorter reset. I had a P30 in light LEM and liked it the most. Handled a USP worked over by Bruce Gray a few weekends ago and it was even better.

Default Hk USP Compact vs P30 trigger ?s

I had both. The reset from both were almost the same.

I also have a match trigger on my USP expert. I will let you know when I compare it to the USPc.

Edit:

The resets from the USP Expert with match trigger and the USPc trigger are the same.

How many rounds? No P30 but USP's both full size and compact...HK triggers butter up after use

Neither are great from the factory. They're about the same IMO.

That being said, I still shoot my USPc as well as my guns with better triggers, just something about that little guy.

The match trigger for the usp has the hole for the over travel screw and is longer than the compact trigger. Compared to the full size trigger, the screw hole is the only difference.

I have both the P30 and USPC. Just compared the the reset on both several times. The USPC reset is a bit shorter than the P30.

I also compared the USPC to the VP9 and could not see any noticeable difference in the reset on those two.

Thanks exactly what I wanted to know. I was doing some rapid fire and double taps with my P30 and kept short stroking the trigger. Ive never done that with any other DA gun. I have USPs, SP2022, 5906, 910, CS9, HK45 and some others i cant recall and didnt have any reset issues. I know i can train different but i want to be able to go from my Glock to HK and vice versa.

I didnt have any problems with my usp compact and swtiching between my Glock 19.
Anyhow, thanks for all the info. I will be selling my P30L

Fyi, it only has between 300-500 rnds and its not the da trigger thats bothering me, its the reset and i dont wanna send it out. I want a stock trigger thats da/sa and short reset.
On a side note, i sold my sig sp2022 a long time ago, i dont even recall how the trigger was, i just know i didnt short stroke it.

The match trigger has a much smoother take up than the compact usp trigger. Both have a nice clean break and a short reset in my opinion. I love my compact.
