Default What brand of red dot sight is on the Sig 556 HOLO

Anyone know make and model?

not sure of make model but they looked pretty chessy-
light weight and china looking but who knows....
Sig has never been known for offering great "accessories"

I was told it was made by sig and that it was cheap quality! thats what the guy told me where i bought my 556 and he could have sold it to me and made more $$ but he didnt.

It's pretty cheap. If mine came with one, it'd immediately go up for sale for someone who prefers cheap optics, and would be replaced with an EO Tech, ACOG, Aimpoint, or Reflex sight instead.

It is a POS, but then again it does work. It is equivalent to a $50 red dot. Sig has their name on it, but I doubt they actually make it.

With the cheap red dot I could easily hit steel plates 200 yards out. And im really not all that good. I think the plates were 12" and that was off hand and quick acquisition.

Get the base model and be done. It really is a *****in gun. The BUIS arent too great either. But I guess thats why they are back up.

I know Aurora is making some sweet sights for the 556, HK style and everything.
