have to pop out all 3 pins in the frame, with a glock tool or a correct sized punch. then use tool to pry up on the meal block that the barrel rides on for final lock up. then pull out slide release, and trigger ***'y. change out SR install upper pin 1st then install lower pin (the one with notches) you may have to jog the SR around a little to get the pin past the notches.
for the mag release there is, if you look in the mag well, a notch where a straight spring pin rides. you must use a needle nose pliers to remove and re-install the straight pin once you remove the pin, push button out. simple. like tinker toys.. any more q's?

Actually, there's no need to remove the pin for the mag release. Just use a screwdriver to pop the spring up and slide the mag release out. Install the new mag release and hold the spring up with the screwdriver as you slide in the new mag release. Now slide the spring over with a screwdriver so that it locks in place.

To the OP,if your not comfortable with swapping the parts. LC action police supply will do it for free. They will swap sights or just about any basic parts replacement. They also have Glock days when the factory rep comes in and will update any parts and answer any questions.

I have had nothing but great service execpt they won't sell you a gun or any agency purchase only item. Everything else is fair game. If you see their prices you'll get mad, were gettin screwed. G17 425$

The big pin in the middle will give you fits if you don't remember to rock the slide lever back and forth while pushing the pin out. Don't bother removing the locking block pin, just slide the trigger pin out and install the new slide lever. If you do remove the locking block pin put it in before installing the new slide lever. The little spring on the lever will sometimes get in the way of the locking block pin.
