Default Mausers Peruvian 1909, Brazilian 1908, Finn M39 1944 San Francisco, Will Ship

Make: Mauser

Model: 1909 Peruvian

Caliber: 7.6553mm Mauser (Argentine)

Location (city or county): San Francisco, CA

Price: 750 SOLD

Will ship (Y/N): Y

Other info: This is a nice condition 1909 Peruvian in 7.65 x 53mm. The serial puts it at the earlier manufacture dates. The contract lasted from 1909-1914. As will almost all Peruvians, everything matches but the bolt. The bolt on this rifle does not match itself. Fairly smooth cycling, very nice bore. Some rust pitting at the action but is totally neutralized (see photos). Stock has never been messed with and has all original markings. No cleaning rod. Roller coaster sights (Imperial German). Small erosion at firing pin hole (see photos). No import marks.

Only reason to sell is that I obtained a matching example recently for nearly three times the price. The bore on this rifle is much better than my matching example. This would make a fine shooter and a good stand in for a Imperial German Mauser as they are very similar except for caliber.

See high res photo gallery HERE.

Make: Mauser

Model: 1908 Brazilian
Caliber: 7mm Mauser

Location (city or county): San Francisco, CA

Price: 350

Will ship (Y/N): Y

Other info: This is a nice matching Oberndorf manufacture 1908 Brazilian. It is rare in that most were made by DWM in this contract. All numbers match except the firing pin which is a replacement. This came to me with a sanded stock and parkerized hardware, which was common at the time for importers to mess with. I re-blued the parked parts and re-finished the stock to a original like appearance. The bore is ok, and it shoots well. Cleaning rod is not numbered. A great starter Mauser, and the cheapest thing from Oberndorf you can buy. Has a removable sling stud. Most of the stock markings are still visible. Import marked (can't make out the name, Genesso?)

See high res photo gallery HERE.

Make: Finnish Mosin VKT

Model: M39 1944

Caliber: 7.62x54r

Location (city or county): San Francisco, CA

Price: 550 SOLD

Will ship (Y/N): Y

Other info: Nice example of a 1944 VKT Fininish M39. Bought from Classic last year, import marked. Great bore. Some slight rash on the stock. All numbers match except the butt plate. Completely cleaned and ready to shoot. Trigger is sublime.

See high res photo gallery HERE.

PM I think is full.

Un-numbered cleaning rod is correct for 1908 Brazilian.
