Unfortunately that shotgun is untransferable in CA. There is no featureless option for a mag fed semi auto shotgun.

Why would it not be transferable?

The law passed last year didn't include shotguns. You still can't make a shotgun featureless, as you couldn't do that last year either. I'm really hoping that I still see a maglock on that gun.

Follow the shotgun flow chart at the top of the forum. It is still in effect.

I apologize if I'm spreading bad information. I thought shotguns were included in the new law. Free bump for an awesome shotgun.

I think you are right, dirtbiker.
Please, anyone, correct me if I'm wrong because I have one of these and I haven't registered it yet.

30515. (a) Notwithstanding Section 30510, “assault weapon” also means any of the following:
(7) A semiautomatic shotgun that has the ability to accept a detachable magazine.

Folks, I apologize as I was not intending to turn this sale into a discussion. I didn't want the OP to erroneously believe his firearm was not in legal compliance.

The redefinition of bullet buttons as "detachable magazines" only applies to rifles and pistols. A bullet button equipped shotgun still does not have a "detachable magazine" under current law. If further clarification is needed on this point then it is probably better to have that discussion in a different thread that isn't in the "for sale" forum.

I also own a Saiga 12 and it's awesome! It takes a lot of work the build them into this condition.

Free bump for the sale.

The DOJ submission of regulations may apply here. Here is an article in Breitbart about it.

http://www.breitbart.com/california/...-closed-doors/

The article also has a link to the 60 page DOJ submission of proposed change in regulations. As written, it appears that the DOJ is intending to include shotguns in their language and will require registration as an AW. And, they are also stating that if not lawfully possessed before 12.31.16, then they will not register. (see page #3 and 8 on the 60 page document).

It appears that this document was submitted on 5.12.17 and the article was published on 5.19.17.... So, we are still in the mist of this sh.....

I have a Vepr 12 and absolutely love it.
