Default What Does A Trump New Supreme Court Justice Mean To the 2A In Calif

What does Trump's new SCJ mean for the fight for the 2A here in Calif...? Can we overcome the 9th appeals judicial activism..?

Nope. Court composition is same as pre-Scalia, unless Gorsuch can manwhore himself to Kennedy, Kagan, or RBG, no different voting.

We're still cooked.

Regardless, we're not supposed to discuss judges at length. But we in California would be better off pressuring Trump.

Ok, explain your SCOTUS math to me, or your circuit court giving a pro-gun decision logic.

Peruta= positive circuit court ruling-> en banc ruling->overturning pro-gun, giving anti.

Teixera=positive circuit court ruling-> en banc ruling->overturning pro-gun, giving anti.

SCOTUS has not ruled for a gun case since 2010.

Scalia+Thomas issued 2 opinions saying court was full of $*%# and should have taken gun cases.

Gorsuch=Scalia today, no other change.

But magically, things are different!

I thinking that new case law will come up....Scalia was in a holding pattern.. with Trumps SCJ pick its time for some new ground to be discovered...I think the time may have come for that...

The question here is no more appropriate than the one in politics and activism.

There is no answer but the SCOTUS votes on cases.
