You guys'll get a kick out of this one. My CDL expired on 12/19. I have the dumb paper extension, but have to wait til I get the hard copy to even start the PPT on my latest purchase. So, Kahr PM9 sits at my fave local FFL... waiting on the mailman.

Insult to Injury;
The .38 derringer's 10 day wait has been over since the 26th, however that ffl is out of town til next week.

Thanks Xero...please post your baby when she comes in. Let me know how those grips work out...thinking of getting a pair for my West German 220 as it has no rail. Enjoy and welcome to the "signess''!

:sigh:

I'm still waiting for City Arms to reopen so I can start my 10 days on my 1911PD which has already been there for a week. Than I have to wait a while more while I send it off to have it bobtailed.

I never was much good at this patience stuff.

I definitely will. So far, they look great without the gun. The beam isn't as tight as I would like, but that's ok. Crimson Trace has such great customer service. I asked for more cleaning swabs and an adjustable wrench (to zero the laser) and they shipped them today for free. But I will definitely let you know once I hit the range. Thanks for the welcome. I always wanted a Sig, and in a little over 12 hours, I will have one in my hands to call my own.

EDIT:

And here she is!:

Xero - A beaut as well, enjoy your Sig! I took my 226 to the range yesterday. Shot perfectly without any issues. My buddy helped me to sight in the laser and I need to be careful not to rely on it as it really helps with my aiming...hahaha. I also love stainless guns and my West German 220 with aluminum alloy had quite the kick after I shot my heavier stainless. And I shot the .357 sig barrel. I like the round and it's loud and has some kick. People were looking over from other lanes wondering what kind of gun I had. It was neat.

Enjoy!

I carry at least one gun, either a Sig 226 (15 +1) or Sig 220 (8+1), 24/7. When I buy a gun, I still wait 10 days. They think I will go out with a new single shot rifle or single shot shotgun and blast people with it?

Unhappy In California Waiting Jail

Last gun of 2008 (paid) or first gun of 2009 (picked up)?

I pick her up on the 8th. In California Waiting Jail, a new to me S&W Model 629-4 w/ 3" barrel. Another snubbie - cool.

I'm so excited & I just can't hide it!!

Default 9 Days 23 Hours...

Just bought (from a fellow calgunner) a flawless used 92FS. Not a platinum 1911 or nickel-plated snake gun but waiting sucks just the same.

*Sigh*

What's with the "handgun" 10 day wait stuff - it's 10 days for ALL guns nowadays in CA. I'm in for ten on an Ohio Ordnance BAR. (It'll take me that long to get a moving truck to bring the damn thing home!
