Black Majik and Knight,
Thanks for the support, I see someone else is waiting for their P2000 9mm as well. I am still in sticker shock mode but thankful you guys believe it was a good purchase. Knight, now on month 11, what do you do to keep your sanity?

Yep, that's me!! I was shocked by the price too, but then I found out how hard it is to find exactly what I wanted (NIB 9mm v3 w/ 10rd mags). All the dealers I contacted told me they couldn't even order one, and that it was discontinued ? So when I finally found it, I was happy to fork over my $. It also comes with night sights, so that helps justify the price

Anyways... 5 more days till I can take it home!

Well, I picked up my Kimber Ultra CDP II last night. Problem is I will not be able to shoot it until Sunday!

At least I can fondle it. It was a real killer when I paid for it but had to leave it with the shop.

Looking forward to having some fun.

$799 NIB w/ night sights and 3 10rd mags - no tax since it was out of state.

I put half down on a CZ 75B in .40 S&W yesterday. They were out of stock and had to order one, which will take 8-14 days. Once it's in, only then can the 10 day waiting period start. So altogether, I'm looking at about a three week wait until I get my CZ.

A friend picked up a Delta Elite 10mm from a pawn shop. He had to wait the 30 days plus the 10 days.

Screw em'

the XD's are fantastic firearms. I love mine... Ive shot several glocks and I simply don't care for them... the Glock people are like a Cult Like Apple product people.

Different strokes for different folks. Enjoy the XD

Sounds like the Glock will be your 2nd gun, lol. Can't go wrong with many of the modern handguns. You picked the XD9 for a reason, have fun (and safe) time with it, and become proficient while you wait for the 30 day next handgun wait/save up time. Congrats on your purchase, I just came home from So-cal with my new one.

Yesterday was day 20 after the 10 day (30 day) so I drossed my new Springfield Loaded 1911 in 9X19. 10 more days. This one every 30 is almost as painfull as the 10 day wait. The 30 day wait keeps my wallet in check, unless I find a good PPT. But the 10 day wait is just a killer.

E-mailed the seller and his FFL this past Tuesday, December 9th, a week after the seller dropped the pistol off at his FFL. FFL apologized and said it was going out that day USPS. Hopefully will get a call from my FFL tomorrow or Saturday so I can drive over there and DROS it.

Six days to go before I can pick up my new Wilson Professional. My first Wilson, and I can't wait to get it home. Afraid I might have to thin out either the 1911 collection or maybe a couple AR lowers to justify the expense though. I can't decide which. I really can't see myself selling a 1911, but then again it's so hard to come by AR receivers right now too. It's the best of times; it's the worst of times.

Nice, I feel for you guys as I just got my 1911 a few weeks ago. There is about 2 more weeks before I actually get to hold my AR OLL, so hopefully in about a week or so I get the call to go to the shop and DROS my Suun Devil Lowers. Yes I have been waiting like 4 weeks already, I am very happy I decided to get the slightly more expensive Sun Devil Lowers as the Stag's are taking longer then expected

I currently have a LWRC M6A2 SRT 16" Upper, ARMS 40L Rear Sight, Bushnell Red Dot being mailed out to me. Today I picked up my LPK Parts including the a Complete Magpul CTR Stock, Magpul MIAD Pistol Grip, Bullet Button, Troy Front Sight, and a Bushmaster 10 Round Mag as well. The wait is killing me, so is the empty wallet syndrome I have been facing with this AR Build

let's see. next saturday dec 20 i pick up my first 1911, a stainless colt series 80. this is my first weapon purchase since i bought my first two. G22 and 870 express about2.5 years ago. i need to get rounds before then, and maybe a case that will hold it and the glock... i'm looking at alumagrips as a christmas present for the 1911, but i doubt they'd get here in time. got the g22 the glock rail mounted light.

My first 1911 was my most painful 10 day wait experience. Good luck to you my brothers.

I paid ~$840 total for mine, ~$740 before fees. V3 .40, no night sites, two mags.

As for how I deal with my 11 (now 12) month wait time - why, I buy more guns, of course.
