Complete Del-Ton Echo 316 with FDE MOE Hardware



Came complete from Del-Ton except for the MBUS and Magpul 10/20's which came from Riflegear.

16" heavy barrel with 1:9 twist chambered 5.56 and A2 Flash Hider.

Clocking in at a whopping 6.5lbs. dry, my Daniel Defense M4V4 w/ CompM2 in A-TACS Duracoat. I got close. First and only attempt at Duracoat.

Fantastic job. Did you use an airbrush and freehand technique? Looks great. I'd like to do something like that.

Thanks! Yeah, airbrush and freehand but the trick to making it look more organic and less "painty" was when I sprayed the two darker colors, I worked the trigger on my Paasche. That is, instead of spraying a pattern, I basically just pumped small dots at the surface and built the dots into a a glob, then went to the next spot. It's hard to tell because I haven't yet taken a hi-res of it, but if you look closely you can see some individual "dots"-- both the coyote tan and dark brown entirely comprised of dots. Way more time consuming, but worth the time.

Thanks for the complement! I had Joint Force Enterprises/WW Guns coat everything in Burnt Bronze Cerakote.

It used to be a custom mixed Duracoat FDE.

I just got the VFG and threw it on for ****s and giggles, ill be taking it out to see which one i like better, and taking one off
