Talking My New Barrett is here

Just picked up from jail yesterday. Can't wait to scope it, and shoot it of course And of course, the obligatory "the ban made me do it". Now I'm seriously considering the CA Legal SAW.

I'm pretty jealous. That's a whole lot of awesome-ness. A saw would fit right in there.

I don't really want to blow 8k on that SAW but I don't see any choice at this moment.

It's .416 its all they'll let in but if I ever move to a free state I can buy a .50 upper and magazine. Right now its a race to get what I need before its too late. I have a bunch of M-60 links but from my understanding its hard to find a CA legal M-60 since nobody is making them since the 1990's? It's either the M-60, mabye a Browning MA Deuce (again if I can find one at the right price) or that SAW. My understanding is that the 1919 will be ok after next year due to it not having a pistol grip underneath the receiver? So many things to think about so little time.. Thanks everyone.

They should be friends

Thinking about a 1919 myself but like you said, it seems those are safe for a little while. Beautiful addition

I feel your pain...picked this up 2 weeks before the 50 cal ban took effect.

You'll have fun and it's a popular rifle with the ladies...

Very nice. Wish I had a bigger budget for this year. Going featureless?

I haven't thought about it. But i kinda like the way it is but at the same time I want to reduce the risk of potential confiscation in the future should I want to shoot it with a regular pistol grip.
