Ha now that I dont hav a girl amymore, Im able to get a DELETED Bulgy 74 and contemplate building a Yugo m70. And think about supplying money for my dad to get a 1911 in 10mm and transfer it to me. Now that I think about it, the list doesnt really have an end.

I turned 20 this past July and got started shooting when I was about 13 through Boy Scouts. I finished up a Summer Camp partial Rifle Merit Badge at my local range (Escondido Fish and Game Association) and got interested in the Club's Junior Smallbore program. Needless to say, I was hooked. That led to 50 yd 4 position smallbore, 100 yd smallbore prone, and High Power Rifle. I recently got hooked on Across the Course High Power Rifle (200, 300, 600 yd).

22, started about 9 months after I turned 21 when I bought my first long gun, upgraded to a handgun, and my third was my lovely AR

always felt like the odd one out for being interested in weapons so much in comparison to my friends and fam...but I learned (with the help of this forum) there's nothing wrong

I'm 19 and have always been interested in firearms ever since I was a little kid. Once I turned 18 I received my Grandpa's Mossberg 500 and Glenfield .22 repeater soon after his passing. I sold them both for extra money to fund my AR-15 and an M1 Garand that I sold recently. No worries, though, the two guns I sold didn't hold any sentimental value.

just turned 23 went shooting for the first time when I was 18 and got my first rifle a little while latter and bought my first handgun as soon as I turned 21. I've been looking into getting an ar for a while but need to find a new job first, but might use some birthday $ to buy a lower. How long has the young calguners been up is it new or have I been blind for the past few months?

19 here, turning 20 in 3 months.

Pretty much started when I just turned 18. Began when a close friend pointed me towards Calguns.net, where I came across a CA-legal AR-15 and thought, "YOU CAN OWN THAT?!"

Turned 24 last month. Was into guns because my dad had a few and because of the movies. Didn't start buying until I got over my motorcycle phase (crashed the bike and don't have money for a new one yet), and decided to spend my money on guns. Started buying my own at 21 and since then I've gone through a good amount of guns.

Would have plenty more if I was single and wasn't paying an arm and a leg for school and rent. I also haven't worked since I transferred to a UC but I'm thinking its time to get a part time job again.

I'll be turning 21 december 20th.

As to how I got into guns....it was my grandpa that got me into shooting.
I think I started shooting BB/pellet guns when I was 5,my grandpa has 2 acres
of land so he has plenty of room for BB shooting, anyway,we would go out to where a bunch of trees are grouped together, setup some cans and then just shred the cans(aluminum) up with BB's.

Then ocasionally through out the years we would do some .22LR shooting, and it went like that all the way up to last year(or was it this year)when I bought my very first gun,a mosin nagant M91/30 1942.

We still do some shooting, but I mainly just read about guns now cause i'm usually a little too busy to just go shooting very often.

I'm 24, got into guns growing up in Missouri. First went shooting at 10 and now that i live in California, I realize how few people have ever shot a gun. I take out people I've met in college and at work who are curious. Some people never really liked or were interested in guns but now they call me and ask if we can go out shooting again. It truly is viral. My arsenal consists of a 91/30, ar-15 w/ spikes lower, and WASR-10 I just got from henderson defense and haven't shot, and a slew of other rifles and handguns from my father-in-law.

I am 21 and I got into guns when I was 19. As a kid my mom was very much against guns and wouldn't even let me play with toy guns. So of course I was interested in them. One of my buddies told me he bought a shotgun and that peaked my interested so I did some research and went out and bought a rifle.

I turned 19 back in April. Got into guns through my friends, bought my first rifle at 18 (marlin 1894c .357/.38 special), and my first AR a couple months later. I love to shoot and I will not be stopping anytime soon!

Gun-unfriendly home, still researched the hell out of em, got firearms trained for security industry just before turning 21, finally saved enough money to get a HK USP .45F before I turned 22.

Turned 19 the 1st of this month. Been shooting since I was 3. I was around 6 or 7 when my older brother gave me his Daisy Legacy. Was 7 when I first got the chance to have some NFA fun. Got a Mossberg 500A as a belated 12th birthday gift. Got a Ruger 10/22 as a 13th birthday gift. I'm now looking into getting a varmint rifle.
