yep you are right. but this fight is not for one service to win. all services are involved and reaquires teamwork and that goes for the Marines also. there is no I in teamwork. either you work together or die alone your choice.

the choices are somewhat one sided and should have included all of the services.

Thank you for calling the United States Army.

I'm sorry, but all of our units are out at the moment, or are otherwise
engaged. Please leave a message with your country, name of organization,
the region, the specific crisis, and a number at which we can call you. As
soon as we have sorted out Iraq, Korea, China, Afghanistan, the hurricanes,
marching up and down the streets of Washington, D.C., and compulsory
"Consideration Of Others" training, we will return your call. Please speak
after the tone, or if you require more options, please listen to the
following numbers:

If your crisis is small, and close to the sea, press 1 for the United
States Marine Corps.

If your concern is distant, with a temperate climate and good hotels,
and can be solved by one or two low risk, high altitude bombing runs,
please press 2 for the United States Air Force. Please note this service
is not available after 1630 hours, or on weekends. Special consideration
will be given to customers requiring satellite or stealth technology who
can provide additional research and development funding.

If your inquiry concerns a situation which can be resolved by a bit of
gray flannel, bunting, flags and a really good marching band, please
write, well in advance, to the United States Navy. Please note that
Tomahawk missile service is extremely limited and will be provided on a
first-come, first-served basis.

If your inquiry is not urgent, please press 3 for the Rapid Deployment
Force.

If you are in real hot trouble, please press 4, and your call will be
routed to the United States Army Special Operations Command. Please note
that a compulsory credit check will be required to ensure you can afford
the inherent TDY costs. Also be aware that USASOC may bill your account
at any time and is not required to tell you why, as it will be classified.

If you are interested in joining the Army and wish to be shouted at,
paid little, have premature arthritis, put your wife and family in a
condemned hut miles from civilization, are prepared to work your *** off
daily, risking your life, in all weather and terrain, both day and night,
and whilst watching Congress erode your original benefits package, then
please stay on the line. Your call will shortly be connected to a bitter
passed-over Army Recruiter in an old strip-mall down by the Post Office.

Have a pleasant day, and thank you again for trying to contact the
United States Army.

I dont think Top Sniper is a reality show. Its an actual competition held in Benning.

I am sure that there are a lot of good snipers that the Marines breed but I am just telling you what I saw.

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is a branch of the United States armed forces and one of seven uniformed services. In addition to being a military branch at all times, it is unique among the armed forces in that it is also a maritime law enforcement agency (with jurisdiction both domestically and in international waters) and a federal regulatory agency. It is an agency of the United States Department of Homeland Security during peacetime and of the Department of the Navy at wartime[2].

Wow, I haven't been on here for a minute or two, I like these new forums! Anyhow, I go ahead and throw another "NAVY" vote in there too! I think we're the most under-rated branch out there...when the Army and the Marine's get sick of seeing their soldiers and marines on CNN (in a bad way) they send us in! Hahaha! All in good humor, I've served alongside both and have nothing but the utmost respect for both. Now the Air Force...that's a different story! (they do have the best looking females though)

I have to disagree. On average the AF had better looking females, but the BEST looking females I ever saw were Marines, although they also had the worst looking. At least for enlisted types. The Army had the best looking Officers, but ya can't touch those anyways.

As a Navy brat from a Navy family...I just gotta say:

Be...all that you can be
Get a messed up life
And an ugly wife
in the Army!
(IIRC this was from Damon Wayans as 'the bum' from "In Living Color")

Army/Navy games are the best! "Go Navy! Beat Army!"

Thanks to ALL who serve, or have served, regardless of what branch you belong to!

I like this.
