Default Airport question

I just got back from the airport to pick-up the Wife but was late. She called me in the middle of a match (caught an early flight) and I wound up on my way straight to the airport. I started sweating it half way there and turned around and dropped off the gun and headed back out.

Keeping in mind I was picking her up from the curb would that have been a problem? Thanks, Sammy

If you were transporting your firearms otherwise legally, you should have no problems taking a gun to the airport. People who are traveling with them have to do it all the time. All you can't do (for now) is take them past security in your carry ons.
