It looks like it might be a loaded, try and look at that front sight, it looks to me like it says something. Mine says NM on the front and rear sights, and then has a little NM 308 on the top of the barrel that I never noticed until somebody at the range pointed it out shortly after I bought it.

You're getting there , on the top of the barrel, right infront of the handguard does it have anything etched into it? Mine is very faint...

Hmm....look hard, maybe wipe it down with CLP? If its a NM barrel it should be marked like 2" forward of the upper handguard.

looks like a standard barrel. its undersized after the hand guard.

how did the scope mount work? I have an m44 I put a scope mount on and it wobbled around and it couldn't hold a zero to save its life.

Worked great for me. Did you use the rear sight scope mount? this one is located on the receiver.

ya... mine replaced the rear sight. Did you have to drill and tap then for this one?

Yep, it's the ATI kit, you can check it out on their website. I had my friend who runs a tool and die shop install it.
