Default Any m14 guys have MMG and VLTOR stock?

Thinking about swapping out my standred synthetic stock out on my M14 for the VLTOR rifle stock and running a MMG. Has anyone done this?

I researched this and the MMG works good on the light AR platform - because we in CA HAVE to use it that way to keep detachable mags -- But the only thing you'd get out of doing the combo you suggest would be a HEAVY rifle with compromised handling over a rifle stock. Here is my SOCOM and LOADED in a CAL-Compliant JAE G2 stock which allows you to use a scope and put rails everywhere while retaining the ability to shoulder and fire the thing --

VLTOR is only selling their forend through Springfield. When I use the JAE I just pop off the bottom rail on the VLTOR and use the top three plus the lower rail on the stock.

I got the full rail system installed on it. I just took the bottom section off when I shoot it. I guess it stays in current trim.

I wanted to get a LAW stock with a U-15 on it -- but again, the POINT of the VLTOR and LAW is to get the pistol grip. With my eyes I NEED the scope, the JAE was the only way to get to the scope without an ugly tape on or strap on cheekpiece.

BTW -- after restocking all my cluster rail M1-As this last year, I'm back to yearning for a iron sighted National Match...

The guy from LAW 483 who designed the Troy stock has some "enhanced" M1-A stocks that improve the handling of a factory figerglas without becoming full blown erector set rifles or illegal here. Check them out. here' s two I was considering:
