Keep 'em coming guys. I know it's difficult to swallow, but we're doing quite a lot at the moment that we can't print. Conversely, if there is anyone well versed in PR, we could use some news-writers too for things we can publish. PM or email me.

Gents,

We're likely to take on another case. It's a good time to support the Foundation.

We use a confidential case review under privilege by internal or external counsel to make sure that the basic facts don't point to those sorts of color. We will allow some color if it is mundane - think traffic ticket. We have turned a few cases away for direct help but then we try to make sure that the gun issues are handled correctly by the defendants actual counsel.

Thanks for all you've done for gun rights in California. I have learned so much from reading posts here, and I feel better about my rights than I have in a long time. I always thought that if wanted to be respected as a gun owner I would have to move to another state, but now I think that with some hard work and patience, this place will come around.
Thanks again, I will donate what I can when I can.

Just donated.

$100 for the raffle and now today $100 for a direct CGF donation.

So what pavement pounding can I do next for The CGF? Money is good but physical action to move things along can sometime be better.

Best thing you can do right now for CGF - is tell your friends, get them on Calguns.net, and get them to donate to CGF.

We're doing well on donations, but need to radically expand. We get a case of interest almost every week these days.

Big things in store from CGF very soon, can't go into detail but besides changing RKBA law for the better, we're building a news distribution network and a forum-agnostic meeting place for central distribution of that news, and more importantly, ways to help.

Funds sent! I have had the privilege of meeting with Don and spending some time with him at some of the group builds. He is an upstanding fellow who is so eager to help out anyone. Please don't hesitate to help support Don in fighting this travesty. He is just like you and I; an ordinary guy.

We're not really tracking donations directly to this case right now, as once CGF funds a case, we're in it for the long haul no matter what.

If a forum member gets in trouble with the AR/AK legality issues, can we turn to the foundation for help (legal defence counsel/financial-court fees etc)?

CGF is NOT legal insurance. We obviously cannot afford to defend everyone in the world, the average legal defense for firearms charges starts in the $10,000 range and goes UP from there if it goes to trial!

How soon till CGF starts suing the instigators of the cases defended to recoup costs and get money for future fights? Gotta feed off the enemy, ya know, fight them with their money.

This strategy is part of what we want to execute but it does take the right circumstances. All I can say is that we're close and hope to be able to tell you more on this idea soon.
