cncguns.com has soldworks files for 0% builds from billet, but I have not seen anything CAD wise for just finishing up the last "20%" of a build.

There are too many variables with different 80%s. If you have access to a CNC machine, just start with solid stock and make it from scratch. Also, tell me when and where so I can get in line!

As noted, CNC Guns has what you need. Also check out Firearm Files if you need anything else.

There is A LOT of work to make a 0% into an 80%...
One thing for sure is you have to buy the tool to thread the buffer tube.

Some of the stuff I used to thread on the lathe I now thread on the mill. That's how I'd do the buffer tube hole, super easy. I started over 30 years ago running a manual lathe, etc - let me tell ya, the CNC stuff makes life a LOT easier. all the best, Mike

I don't see any of the AR stuff a huge pain. It'd be nice to have a nice big broach for the mag well, or a wire machine. Since JMB was able to make stuff as a blacksmith, I guess I can find a way to cope. I'll just go ahead and make some tooling. Good thing there is a cad file for the AR10, right? all the best, Mike
