Default Which front sight for IDPA

I'm using a Glock 35 with stock sights. The stock sights work good. But would like info on if there is something out there that would help an older set of eyes.
I was thinking of a red sight, no need for night sights.

Thanks for any help.

Tony

I like the Dawson/Warren Tactical Fiber Optics. You can get them from one of the forum dealers:

Front site looks a little high, but probably lines up just right with that rear site. I was hoping to use my stock rear site (Glock 35 adjustable) and just replace the front with something a little more visible.

Looks assume!

and thanks for the feed back.

Call Dawson, I am sure they have a fiber optic front sight with the right height to match the stock adjustable rear. You may want to black out the white lines on the rear sight. Unlike the front sight, where there is a difference of opinion on black vs. fiber optic, it is pretty much unanimous among top shooters that the rear sight should be black. Markings in the back distract the shooter from focusing on the front sight.

yep Dawson FO here.. I like the narrow front .100? with lots of gap on each side. Very fast but precision when needed.
