Default Can I do 1 Rifle 1 Pistol Same DROS?

I ordered a Beretta 9MM Stainless and a .22 Cal Rifle that will both arrive at my FFL the same day here soon. Can my FFL do the both of the guns on the same DROS to save money?

Please let me know.

I don't know the answer just thinking out loud.

You can buy as many longs guns as you want at one time. Do all of these go on the same DROS?

You can only buy one handgun every 30 days.

So, if the answer to the above questions is: Yes. Why can't you buy your one handgun and all the long guns you want and put them on the same DROS?

I noticed that a long gun has a different paperwork set up than a handgun. My long gun DROS do not include serial numbers for instance. The handgun paperwork does.

Handguns require a seperate DROS.
Because, the make/model/caliber/serial number of the handgun is registered to the buyer via the DROS.

Multiple long guns can be done on one DROS.
Because, long guns are not registered. Therefore, the make/model/caliber/serial number is not required for a DROS of a non-handgun.

Private Party Transfers are between 2 California residents. Anything being shipped in to an FFL is not a PPT.
