at other poeple's expense? not nice..

maybe rifle gear made a mistake.. lol

but one thing that puzzles me is that it does not have an interchangeable back strap or trigger guard. it's all fixed so got me thinking it's a MOE not MIAD. The basic MIAD comes with interchangeable accessories.

ok, i'm going to chime in on this topic. first off this is a picture thread, so please post pictures and stop arguing...

but this is bugging me as much as everyone else here... johnny, your rifle looks awesome. i like gear that you selected and it looks set up nicely but one thing. like everyone else points out, you do have a MIAD and not a MOE grip... like you, i'm a huge fan of magpul. it is clear that whoever sold you a MOE sent you a MIAD instead.

your grip clearly shows the lines for the front and rear straps and the roll pin hole on the rear strap:

this is a MOE, not like yours at all. the MOE does not have these lines, and the back portion of the MOE is all horizontal lines, not texturized like yours is. i also believe that MOE grips have MOE stamped on them on the right side of the grip.:

this is a MIAD, just like yours:

btw, i don't think you realize that your trigger guard is a magpul trigger guard installed by daniel defense. just a bit of info for you to know. ok, now case closed. let's go on to postin' pics instead of arguing.

not trying to argue here. i'm just pointing out that i bought a MOE from rifle gear and i guess they send me the wrong one. all the backstrap/trigger is fixed and can't be removed. so i was under the impression it is the MOE.

i'm done and carry on..

good call, you scored then. the MIAD is slightly beefier even in its slimmest configuration. i like the feel of a bigger grip in my hand. i need to order a MOE from riflegear!

Thumbs up THIS is a Moe!

I don't know why this has been allowed to go this far,

but THIS is a true and original MOE!

nice pix you got there... i think i saw that pix in M4carbine.net in San Jose Magpul Dynamics Class?

Roger, I respect that. I apologize for the anger. To each his own indeed. And yes that pic was from a Magpul Dynamics class in San Jose.

I understand your point and it is a valid one. I just don't want to see anybody leave this site because they felt like they were being harassed for choices they made when purchasing a rifle. Everyone seems to be fine with everything so this issue is done and over with. Let me put this thread back on topic, my first:

BCM M4 Carbine Upper
BCM M4 Handguards
Kaiser Defense Lower Receiver
Rock River Arms LPK
Rock River Arms BCG
BCM Charging Handle
KNS Anti-Rotational Pins
Bullet Button
C Products 10/30 Magazine
BCM Mil Spec M4 Stock Kit
BCM Mil Spec Carry Handle
Magpul Winter Trigger Guard

My next one will be tacticool but first I want to purchase an M1A Socom 16.

I got lucky with my CTR stock. Got it for the price of a MOE.

Before anyone tries and bust me out, the pistol is fake.

It isn't illegal to store rounds in your grip.

I'm not a fashion nut either, and that picture made me throw-up in my mouth just a little bit, JohnnyRooks.

YMMV

Just like the car world, there are cars built for show and cars that are built for performance over anything else. Johnnyrooks are part of the "show" car crowd. Nothing wrong with that. It does look pretty though.

+1

When I was building one of my projects, I based it off a tri colored airsoft gun ...but after I got all the parts, i decided to sell it all and get the same parts in all black... I am so glad I went all black and never turned back since... to each their own, but i prefer the classic color of the evil Bl*ck rifle...

the airsoft:

josh is right, that is a tactical innovations t15 bdx on the sam-r replica. yea arteeel, i like the feel of the fatty B3 back strap of the MIAD grip. my next 3 builds won't have the MIAD though... you'll see.

superset, i haven't wanted to do a mmg or u15, but who knows. i might in the future.
