The only way to buy powder is by the 8lb jug.
You just gotta be sure you actually LIKE the powder before you commit to 8lbs.

ya i like all the powder. 4064 is my 168 load, and my .223 load
rl15 is universal for both my 168 and the 155, and varget will be used for my 155. only issue is i'm going to run out of bullets by summer, and the prices of bullets is gonna go up again. at 250rounds/ month. i'll need more ammo by the June/ July competitions. those months will be costly including match fees, etc. it'll give me plenty of time to sling my 18 pound rifle offhand. I'm pretty set for bullet and powder through July (I normally buy twice a year). I'm stocking up on 22lr ammo though and plan to shoot it more than Savannah to conserve her barrel and components

WooHoo. Grandma just gave me $200 for christmas so that just paid for my brass. I think I'll get an 8# jug of 4895 to go with it. If I can only tlk the wife out of her $200 I could get 3 jugs.

Just order your Lapua brass from Grafs. Their prices are about as low as it gets and they don't bend you over on the shipping (regular or dealer). Even though they never tell you what the shipping cost will be for dealer account orders at the time of order submission online, their freight cost has always been fair when I get the final invoice.

make sure you stay on them once you get everything setup. Grafs kept screwing up and it took 2 weeks to get it squared away. Don't forget Brownell's. They like to do the same thing. They set me up but didn't set the dealer flag so I didn't see the dealer pricing. Took 4 calls to get it squared away. Midway just took forever to set it up.

Brownells wants a signed copy. But, to see dealer pricing, you just set that up yourself. You shouldn't have even called Brownells to set it up for you. Theoretically, anyone can see the dealer pricing online at Brownells.com by editing one's own account type. Just pick the correct customer type under Customer Profile after you login and it will tailor the online pricing accordingly. Of course, you actually need the correct paperwork on file to take advantage of said pricing.

Almost back on topic.....
I use the Lapua .308 brass along with my M118LR stuff. Seems to have the same results with my 155 Berger loads out of my M40A1.
