Ordered 12/29/12
Shipped 1/3/13
Received 1/5/13

However, there seems to be a flaw in my lower. The raised area below one of the stops for the selector switch appears to have been milled too low and they attempted to clean it up afterwards and it simply looks like crap. I must say that I am a bit disappointed. I'm not that familiar with the AR-15 platform, so my question is do these raised areas serve any purpose and can I file these down so that they are flat with the receiver?

Mine arrived today and I took a picture of them.. I feel they are better then I expected and I cannot wait to find someone here in Sacramento who has built a few of these to give me a few pointers finishing them .... Here are some pics and a quick picture of the seam area they have changed in the trigger area.

It shouldn't make any difference. It is just to stop the selector safety switch. If you don't want it let me know

Yeah, it looks like it's not an issue. I'm just going to file those bumps down. Thanks.

I just got mine today, and I too have the bumps on the safety selector area.

Mine doesnt look to have an attempted filing however.
I will just have another 10 minutes of work in addition to the required milling.

Overall impression:
Good quality receiver, decent machining considering price and availability in today's market.
Would buy again.

So I thought I would post pictures of an ano along with a raw:

Close up of trigger guard area, which seems to me to have been fixed:

Both lowers along with a LPK from Ares:

So Fedex is bringing my upper tomorrow, and I hope to cruise down to Ares this week to mill them out.

I will keep you guys posted, and post pics of the upper and the 100% build.

Right now, I have to say I am extremely impressed with Rohg for promptly delivering their products in a timely fashion during this time of shortage. I am much further along on my build because of their efforts and I am really glad they are out there producing this stuff for us.

You know. It's amazing to me. Right now there is a rush on anything firearm related. That is obvious. We all knew that something like this was inevitably going to happen ESPECIALLY if Obama got back in office.

So this manufacturer is swamped like everyone else and people want to ***** that they cannot get trough.

If we could all guess this was going to happen if he got back into office, wouldn't it have been smart to just prepare before hand??

Let's not blame the manufactures, stores, retailers, etc. for peoples inability to prepare for this situation.

/end soap box rant

Just talked to them. They are working on the site right now so they can accept other forms of payment. PayPal stopped their services after they found out they are firearms related.... I sure wont be using PayPal anymore.

I also spoke with them today, very nice people. I had to try a bunch of times for it not to ring busy, but when it didn't they answered. I was excited to be able to add an anodized to my order and another lower parts kit. Because it's been about 8 days for me since my original order, they said I'd be in the next shipment, Friday or Monday. They also mentioned they had plenty of uppers, i.e. the website is accurate, and bcg's at $225. They are no doubt hustling, I suggest that unless you want to add to your order, leave them to the business of catching up.

Ordered 12/30/2012 22:50
Confirmation received 12/30/2012 23:10
Tracking number received 1/4/2013 15:45
Delivered 1/7/2013 approximately 15:30

Upon inspection, trigger well "seam" does not exist on mine. The magwell is pretty clean and i test fitted 3 separate magazines. All fell free easily without binding.

I'm looking forward to getting this engraved and then anodized.

Good luck to everyone else who ordered.

Rohg, i wish you luck with the payment methods. Hopefully it gets fixed before i need to order more stuff! (Which i WILL be doing)

Once again, very fast shipping & service for my 2nd order from them. This time it was their BCG and CH so I could complete my build.

Placed the order late Friday night, then called them up at 8pm and they picked up right away. Took my credit card number and said it would ship out Saturday morning by USPS Priority. I received a tracking number about 20 minutes later. Monday afternoon, I came home and my package from Rohg was here waiting for me. Again, only 1-2 day service from the time I placed the order until the time I had the products in my hand.

Everything looks great, Ordered on the 28th received on the 4th. One problem though, the magazine catch pocket isn't shallow enough for the match catch to effectively hold the magazine so I'll have to file it or dremel down a bit. Anybody know what tools would be perfect for this job?

I ordered 10 hours before you did. Sent them an email yesterday and they said they'd ship out tomorrow, perhaps yours will be shortly as well.
