That would be a Madsen 30-06. A Danish rifle built for a Colombian military contract. It is sort of an anomaly since the design was obsolete before it was ever fielded.

It is an indeed and uncommon rifle. They are often found in excellent condition, as you see above. I hope to acquire one some day!

Thanks for the information on the rifle...just starting into the old C&R stuff. Itís been pretty fun to learn the history of each rifle....

Default My Pike - M1917

Measures 63.25" long when fixed

Winchester M1917 made at the Great War's end...Mostly correct, blued, no import or rebuild marks, still headspaces but the barrel is toast. Just had it out and playing...
