I know you will hate me for saying it but i just dont see the fascination with these MP5 replica SMG. Even if you can get them in the 9mm version which ive seen here on calguns forsale.

Why, well given the fact that the real mp5 is your basic work dog SMG of the special forces units around the world or was until they updated it. And that its design was based on close combat situations with either single shot 3 round burst and full auto correct me if im wrong on that, you would want to have those purposeful attributes in your replica version, but because we are not allowed, you are left buying what amounts to a well dressed imposter with very limited caperbilitys for its actual design purpose.

In its own right left alone the real mp5 is a beautiful piece of design and will make any gun owner salivate, but i am just hard pressed to try and kid myself that its replica version is nothing more than a well done rubber chicken. whats worse is it has to have that extra length made up silencer on the end, its just way to fake for my liking. but to each his own i guess.

I think money is better spent in a weapon of military specs and design which is much closer to the real thing such as an AR.

but thats just me so dont take anything i write here as crapping on your purchase or future purchase.

Lastly like many here i have fired the real deal in vegas just off tropicana and once you do that i guess switching to anything less just would not work.

I have purchased several firearms from Canyon Sports at well below MSRP.

They will bargin. They set their prices high in order to allow for bargining which makes the buyer think he got a better deal.

Canyon will bargain but their prices are still high. The last time I went in there was to buy a few boxes of 7.62x39 and they wanted $30 dollars for 20 rounds. I almost fell on the floor laughing.

I think it was Federal if I remember right but that was the last time I went in there. Fortunately a good friend of mine is in LE and he said next I need something just to go through him to get the discount.

What are the prices at RCGX? I've contemplated in getting one but had other priorities.

I've bought a few rifles from RCGX and they have decent prices, about $20-$50 above others but that is the closest place around. I am walking distances to the shop

PS: Do they have any saiga 7.62's in stock?
