I looking at a new stock for my 870 and I know what is out there and have tried them all. All but one. Has anyone ever tried or owns a sage tsar-1 stock for either their moss 500 or rem 870? I need some feed back guys. Thanks!!

What questions do you have I just purchased one and put it on my Remington 870.
All I had to do was remove the Receiver Stud (part #47) and use the new receiver stud that came with the stock adapter.
I put on a B5 Bravo Enhanced SOPMOD and the new buffer tube that came with it.
Also I can confirm that the ITT Enidine Shot Shock Hydraulic Recoil Reducing Stock Tube will work with this TSAR-1 Adapter and B5 Bravo Enhanced SOPMOD. My friend has one and I made sure it would all fit before I go and buy one.
The Fit of the Stock adapter is very solid, The Tube is screwed onto the adapter and locked with a castle nut the bottom of the tube has a set screw to hold the tube/stock straight/vertical.
The Finish is kind of weak but If you plan on getting a Cerakote finish on your shotgun like I do, then that's not really an issue.
One thing that bugs me is that there are two Set Screws sitting flush on the top of the adapter and I have no idea what these are for, I'm going to order a spacer/sling loop (TSA-BSLR) for my TSAR-1 and ask them what these two set screws are for.
If I didn't answer any of your questions shoot me a pm.

Mesa Tactical has a proven (and cheaper) 870 grip/stock adapter. I'm not sure exactly what the Sage adapter has to offer for the extra cost.

I have real big hands and I can tell you that while the Mesa Tactical is a solid product it doesn't offer as much room as this TSAR-1 does. And what I mean by that is my meaty hands touch the bottom of the adapter with the Mesa Tactical LEO model. The TSAR-1 feels better in MY Hands. Just something to take into consideration, This doesn't make it any better.

Guys I appreciate the feed back. I am going to find some a tsar to grab a hold of. I am 6'6 and have very large hands so the options that the tsar offer are good for me. But the concern is the cost but you cant put a price tag on your life. Personally i am not a huge fan of collapsible nature of the tsar or the mesa leo but confort is key. I have a chest rig i will be working with and I do have ghost rings so a sold feel of the urbino or speedfeed 4-s or magpul is nice but cant be changed on the run like a collapsible. I got my work cut out for me.
Thanks for all the imput and if you have anything else to offer ill be your sponge.
