Default Man arrested in Santee for "hi cap mag"

"Possession of a large capacity magazine for a firearm was reported in the 8000 block of Carlton Oaks Blvd, 27-year-old male booked."

There aren't many details but I thought people here might be interested in this.

Sloppy reporting since possession is not a crime.

Except as provided in Article 2 (commencing with Section
32400) of this chapter and in Chapter 1 (commencing with Section
17700) of Division 2 of Title 2, commencing January 1, 2000, any
person in this state who manufactures or causes to be manufactured,
imports into the state,
keeps for sale, or offers or exposes for sale, or
who gives, or lends, any large-capacity magazine is
punishable by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year or
in the state prison.

The way I read that report is all those were things reported by some one. I do not see where an arrest or other action was taken
