Default The best red dot sight for AK under $100 is...

Just installed a new rail on my AK. So now I'm looking for a red dot sight under $100. I'll be using it at the range and in the desert. Any advice or leads to a good deal are always appreciated.

Bushnell TRS-25 is absolutely your best bet.

Primary Arms. That's it. Don't bother with anything else except maybe Vortex or Bushmaster, but both may be just slightly out of your budget.

I plan to put the Vortex Strikefire on a .308 pistol (when PTR returns it) as I've seen others do, so that should tell you a little about the quality.

Instead of a new thread might as well ask here, seeing as my needs are similar. I have an old pencil barrel Mini 14 non-ranch(first rifle given to me as a kid), and going to put an Amega Ranges Scout Rail on it. Had been using the irons out 100yds on gallon jug sized targets and doing alright but feel a red dot would be easier on the eyes for a while. Would any of the following be fine choices(some mentioned already) as a red dot, don't really want a scout scope.

-Primary arms M3 style: ~69.99
-Bushnell TRS-25: ~79.99
-Sightmark Mini Shot Reflex Sight ~79.99 (Like the size. Doesn't have to be this brand)
-Other?

Don't need anything flashy as this rifle is basically for water jugs, cans, wasting ammo at distances up to 100yds. And with the heat of the barrel I usually put it down and get my other rifles anyway. Thanks for any input.

I like my Konus Sight-Pro Atomic Red Dot, though one of the coolest things about it is you can make the dot green. Apparently it just barely fits your budget, but when I got mine it was on sale for $75.00.

Also, I think they actually make the red dots for Sig Sauer (which runs $200), if that sort of thing matters to you.

Yeah, I think that's the OEM dot for Sig and a few others.

Try to increase your budget a bit to $149 and get a Vortex Strikefire... you won't be disappointed!

If you must stay under $100, I agree with the others about the Bushnell TRS-25 as well as this 1x28:
