Default A Sad Day

I have been carrying a ZT 0300 for several years. I have never lost a knife in my life....until this weekend.
I'm looking and it appears the 0300 is discontinued. Anyone use the 0303 or 0350?

That sucks man. Did you look under the seats of your car/truck? I've found many things there I thought I lost...phones, knives, keys, etc

As was mentioned, check every nook and cranny of your rig.

I found what I thought was a long gone Swiss Army knife in the door map pocket of my truck. Crazy. Probably 2 years later.

Not kidding, I went through this exact dilemma a couple months ago. Same dissappointment when I realized they were discontinued. Luckily for me, mine turned up about 2 weeks after I bought a 0350 to replace it. Turns out my wife was "cleaning" and had put it in my camping pack

I will say this about my brief time with the 0350, it's a nice knife for the price tag, but it's no 0300. I was a bit underwhelmed with mine. Once you're used to the 0300, it's hard to go back. I wouldn't say that I disliked it (especially given the price) but I also didn't see any reason to keep it around once my 0300 showed back up.

You can still find 0300s for sale on ebay and blade forum classifieds, but don't expect sale pricing.

I checked everywhere in our car, under the seats, re-opened my suitcase, backpack etc....
And I agree with having the 0300, it is a GREAT knife. It had become an extension of my hand it seemed. Thanks for the advise on looking on blade forums, etc...

Anyone use the 0303?

I wish.... I haven't touched my clubs in over a year due to my schedule with work and daughters volleyball.

I like my 0350 but I would have preferred an 0300. I've been really looking at the 0456 tourniquet frame lock. How insistent are you about assisted opening?

I am not 100% on the assisted opening. But...... after having it for years and getting used to it, it's very handy and was useful many, many times.

I feel for you. I been carrying a 0350 for years and about 2 years ago I lost it. I went without for a least 3 months and was carrying different EDC's I had in my safe.

I found it one day between the seat and center console in my Jeep. I had looked everywhere but there.

I was as happy like a guy who found buried treasure.

Keep looking OP!

That is where I found one of my long lost knives. I thought for sure it walked off on me, but 1 1/2 years later I was cleaning my jeep and it was under the center console. It was a cheap knife, but I still did the happy dance.

This was the first place I looked! This sucks. AND to top it off, it was a gift from my wife..
I'm probably going to order either the 0303 or 0301 this evening...........

Buy a new used one from Ebay. When you do, you'll find the old one
