^^^ For Grand Openings and Black Friday, they open at 8am.

This one was not bad, but not as good as the Lake Forest / Pasadena sales in the past.

Thanks for the info. How do these grand openings work anyways? Do they ask you what you want before opening and give you a ticket or something to go pay or you work with the rep behind the counter according to the number system as usual?

A glock 21 is probably the only thing you could have purchased today, bet they'll all be gone by tomorrow though.

In all honesty, I wouldn't mention that I would sell for profit.

Although they're slow on DROS, they shouldn't take that long.

Is there enough of a margin for profit to worth all that? I mean after paying tax and DROS, some of the lower price guns don't have much of a margin to make it worthwhile even if it's a good deal in terms of % off the retail.

I would think most people are there to buy guns for themselves or family members. Maybe a gun they always liked but not enough to buy at a higher price normally.

They pass out numbers first. This is the order in which the gun counter helps firearms purchasers. Then they hand our tickets for the limited firearms. Each person was allowed to purchase two firearms. The Glock magazines were sold at the register and everything else was on the floor for you to help yourself to.

Around 10pm on 4/20 they brought out snacks and water. At 6am they brought out Starbucks coffee and Krispy Kreme donuts for everyone. Coffee was set up at a table and they walked donuts down the line. They also had porta potties in the parking lot for the campers. Turners did a great job.

That one wasn't X'd out on the door flyer when I went 10 minutes ago.
Picked up a case of shotgun shells for $40.00. Might go back for some plastic ammo cans tomorrow.

Wow, thats nice of them to provide coffee and krispy kremes. Do they pass out the numbers before opening or its like a run to the counter when the doors open? I can only imagine how crazy it'll be if it's whoever gets to the counter first. Maybe I'll make it over to their next grand opening. Seems like they open a new one every 6 months or so.

So my corporate office is just down the street and I was headed there anyway this morning, so I swung by around 0700, holy none of the deals are THAT good!! I was happy to see their staff there, handing out coffee and donuts, there was a port johnny on site, looks like Turners had a good plan and execution, good for them and great for their customers, NICE JOB!

People lined all the way around the building, nope, I've got some things to do, figure I'll go by at lunch, nope, some colleagues roll into the facility and offer to buy me lunch since I helped them with some small projects, OK.

Around 2:45 I break out and head over to Turners, still some stuff left, and picked up what I wanted.

With just about all the guns sold, now would be a good time to do a PPT there.

I would think the Glock mags would be sold out, isn't that a good price?

Glock Mags are all out, so is Glock 21, they just haven't updated the sign. Only ammo deals left really, if you like PMC 223 or have a 380.

He said it is limited to 10. I need to have the voucher to purchase. I told him the door post shows still available. He said "you have to pay regular price."

That's pretty good of them to hand out donuts and coffee.
I remember in the 2013 ammo WTF period when, understandably, a scuffle or two would break out when people would line early and then try and sell their spots in line to others right before the store opened.
Good for Turners in Orange, and I have always been treated well there.

Check the specs and reviews. It's a steal at that price. 3 gun ready out of the box.
