Default Want to buy, but Idk what to buy... help!

So a few months ago, told my wife ďafter harvest Iím going to buy another gunĒ, just to get her primed for the idea... last month she got me a gift card for my favorite LGS for my birthday. We had a little rain last week so I had time to go peruse the gun shops cases... sad, very sad... nothing in the cases even remotely piqued my interest... looking for some suggestions on something new, different, interesting, etc...

Iím pretty well Glocked out, have multiples in each frame size and every caliber I have an interest in. Have a couple Kahrs, both poly frame and an all SS K40 version. Have colt 1911s in 9 and 45. Have a 2Ē sp101 and a 6Ē 686, both in .357. Have a ruger SBH in 454, that sort of pairs with my Henry in 45colt. Have plenty shotguns and rifles, many I havenít ever shot or shot in years, I really have no desire for any more long guns. Looking for ideas on a new handgun.

Mostly trying to stay with calibers I own due to Ammo supply: 380, 40, 45acp, 45lc, 454, 38/357.

Have any single Actions?. I never owned any, and bought a john wayne replica... They are fun and I've been buying different versions. Schofields are totally cool too and will make you feel like Charlie Prince. Top break, casings launch out, quick to load and come in the clambers you listed...If its not in stock, find what you like online and your LGS should be able to order it from their supplier they get their guns from. I dont think there are restrictions on single actions in Ca. I could be wrong though.

You might want to think about a CZ pistol.

I was really impressed with the 45acp S&W JM model, really sweet trigger. Broke college student so I'll have to wait a few years before I can buy one

I have the super Blackhawk in 454 casull, itís a blast to shoot, in every sense of the word. My dad has a single six thatís also fun. I think the SA guns the shop had in stock are in a separate case behind the counter, Iíll have to take another look.

I know you wanted to stick with calibers you have, but we are in California.
Not many interesting new pistols.
So why not an FN Five Seven?

I've a safe full of farmers ex guns. Buy after harvest sell before planting. Gotta agree, though, firearms in CA are pretty bland.

If you're on here asking for help on what to get next, it's clear you shouldn't be getting anything. It's silly to get something just for the sake of getting something. Give it some time and wait until something strikes you.

Great advice, and I agree. I wonít buy anything if I donít get excited about something. Just asking for general ideas on what to take a second look at, or something I havenít thought of. Just started shopping, definitely not going to buy something I donít want.

I’ll throw my vote in for a CZ PCR, but only if you follow up with a poll that includes bacon!

Tough position to be in. But, you’re in a great position to make a purchase purely on how attractive/cool/exciting it is to you.
Some good suggestions above, but if they don’t do it for you that sucks.
I usually get ideas from looking at NRA’s Rifleman. But, my FFl keeps steering me away from Kimbers and Taurus (I guess for my own good). Wait until I tell him I want a HiPoint or Phoenix Arms.

Yes, itís a first world problem, for sure. Thereís another shop with a range that has a pretty good selection of rental guns, guess I need to try out a few, see what makes me giggle... I havenít gone so low as to get hi points or Phoenix arms, but from what Iíve read they both run pretty well... maybe thatís what I need????

Do you have any 22lr handguns, if not I’d recommend a S&W 617. Or a Ruger Mark II-III or whatever number the newer ones are.

Check out the CZs, I picked up a PCR this year, definitely different than the Glocks, still like my Glocks the best though. Also picked up my first revolver this year, those are awesome too.

Since OP stated that he has all Glocks, I am going to assume that he does not have tiny hands and the CZ TS would be the best option for his criteria.

OP, get a CZ 97 if you you want to stay with .45 ACP.

Why not a S&W .460. Will also fire .454 and .45 caliber.
