Default Gunsmith opinions on different brand AR15 Lower Parts Kits

Hello everyone!

I'm sure this topic has been beaten to death in the past, but I wanted to get Gunsmith opinions on different AR15 Lower parts kits they have used and their different experiences with them.
Are the standard, budget, Anderson LPK's god to go? Are more expensive LPK's like Daniel Defense worth it? Opinions / experiences with different branded LPK's?

Thank you for your time!

I'm not going to go check, but what is the price difference between lower cost and higher cost?

I've had tremendously good luck with DPMS parts kit. Just bought a Spike's Tactical kit to try out. I would avoid no name parts kits just because of the unknown quality.

From my limited LPK knowledge...

low/mid cost:
Anderson LPK - $40 on sale
DPMS - $60 on sale
RRA LPK - $70 on sale
Daniel Defense $90 on sale

high cost:
LMT LPK $250 on sale

Yes, that is the question. How much quality exactly, and does the quality of those parts matter?

I'm no formally trained gunsmith, but I've built a few ARs in the past. My ideology of it was that the parts in the LPK short of a trigger are non-critical. I don't believe that the threshold tolerances for LPKs are as tight as the threshold tolerances for a trigger, so I wouldn't dump excess money into a specific branded LPK. As long as it carries a brand name (such as the ones OP listed), it'll be fine. This way, you're not going to get caught up looking for a responsible party if you ever need to return/troubleshoot. If you're going to spend the extra money on one, make sure you get a nice trigger for the money you're putting into it.

I recently installed a Strike Industries Enhanced LPK. For quality and price point, it is hard to beat. The little enhancements are more than worth it. Mixed with their “simple fin grip” and an ALG trigger, I’m happy.
