List your important and frivolous titles in the military
Some of us have had a few designation, some of it legitimate, most of it is complete BS. In the corporate world, it's all about titles, but the military takes it to a new height with all the crazy names they come up with. Here's a few of mine that I am still trying to get over:
Real titles with actual meaning to me: - Team Leader - Squad Leader - Platoon Sergeant Titles that was cool to have but meant less to me personally: - Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of Admissions and Disposition - Non-Commissioned Officer in Charger of Convoy Training My favorite most frivolously title I ever had: - Non-commissioned Officer in Charge of Patient Accounting and Reporting Real Time Tracking System I actually have to say it once in while during meetings to the amazement of many other individual. It's crazy when my office plaque has an abbreviation that's longer than most other spelled out titles. What are your important tiles, long titles and ones that actually didn't mean a damn thing? |

I don't know what his title was but I guy I used to work with spent almost a year writing a 2 paragraph AR revision. I think he was a buck sgt and actually had to brief a general on it.
Her had a plaque in his office that he was awarded for his efforts. |

HMFIC, for you civilians "GOD"
Most others we can talk about in say 50 years give or take 20 Last duties and responsiblities, Assistant manager and shift leader, in charge of a Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Marina Facility. T shirt, shorts and tevas work uniform and rescuing bikini clad girls that couldnt get their party boat running. FIGHT SMART NOT HARD "INTO THE BLUE"

MFIC Suffices, having to ad an H, signofying "Head" is just a little overboard and redundant, added to make the bearer of the title feel more self-important. Which may be why the only people I hear using HMFIC are Marines...
