Default Range Ammo This Weekend

This is from Freedom Fatigues in Yorba Linda. I dont work for them and am not affiliated with them in any way. I've just bought a few shirts from them. I didn't even know they sold ammo. Thought I'd pass this along.

Here's the screenshot of the email flyer.

They can have all the ammo but at the wrong price it’s not worth it. Probably $600-$700 a case

the fact that they also aren't putting limits on amount someone can buy means be prepared for the first 10 people in line to buy it all up.

then see some postings on here, armslist, gunbroker, etc about ammo for sale a few hours later.

Steel casings are good when the range doesn't allow you to pick up your brass. Like On Target and Front Sight.

Steel? Hmmm. The definition of the word "deal" has changed drastically.

Did they sell out? Long line? I don't know many places that will let you shoot that either.

Very few, really. Raahauges' is the closest, but pricy and overcrowded. The last indoor range that let you shoot steel was Ontarget, but they changed the policy a couple of years back. You still can shoot it on BLM tho, but it will be quite a long drive

Most steel case also has steel jacketed bullets and BLM technically says no to that too.

yes, i believe you cannot shoot steel legally, it's prohibited. I believe excessive amounts can cause a fire. read that a while back.

I could be wrong, but I believe BLM advises against shooting steel core, as well as shooting at steel targets in a dry or windy season. Am I completely wrong?
