Every year we wait with the anticipation of a kid at Christmas. Unfortunately, we often forget the process takes time. You can expect the results to show up any time in the next week. Here is a quote from the Big Game Digest regarding the results:

CDFW has 10 business days after the deadline
to conduct the drawing. Applicants may look
up their drawing results on or around June*19,
2018 by entering their customer information on
CDFW’s website at www.ca.wildlifelicense.com/
InternetSales and click on ‘View My Draw Application/Preference
Points’ at the top of the page.
Applicants will also see their new preference point
totals by clicking on the tab ‘Preference Point.’ On
the same day, drawing results will be available by
phone during regular business hours from CDFW
license sales offices.

Typical government... "The law says CDFW has 10 business days to conduct the drawing. You can expect to maybe see results in 12."

New to hunting and I can tell you just pulling a tag and trying to understand all this is just as confusing as CA gun laws. Been out scouting by myself and have seen a few. Got stuck at gates and private property. Downloaded onX but I’m still not even sure what kind of deer I’ll be able to shoot lol.

Drawing deadline was on a Saturday which means results will be posted by Friday.

Default Deer draw results?!?!?

I got the normal...nada.

But I’m excited for my 12 yr old son. He drew an apprentice any-sex hunt. Time to get him his first deer!

Applied for G1,C,B and got my 3rd choice B. I have no points since I drew X3B last year so I think I screwed up by putting B as 3rd choice and not buying it over the counter.

Bought a 2nd D3-5 tag this morning though. My wife applied C,B and drew C.

Nah, I put B as my third choice too, and would have bought a B for my second tag, if I drew my first or second. You didn't screw up!

D16 is buck only. Do you mean A22? Don't tell them you are thinking of shooting a doe with a D tag.

This is my first year hunting and I'm still not 100% sure on how the tags work, but I got D9 this morning.
