Default Munson Sporting Goods Co. Costa Mesa

Does anyone remember Munson Sporting Goods Co. in Costa Mesa? They were on East Palatino Ave. According to the Colt historical archives letter I have, my Gold Cup Nat'l Match was shipped to this store in Nov. 1981. A bit of history from the past.

Default Munson Sporting Goods - 350 E. Paularino, Costa Mesa

In reply to your question - "Does anyone remember Munson Sporting Goods Co., in Costa Mesa?" I certainly do! I worked there for seven years (straight out of high school) as a secretary to Al Weinberger, Dave Okerlund, and a third, whose name I can't recall at the moment. A truly great family-run company! Ward, Alice, and Kelly Munson (as well as those listed above and more) were truly amazing, one-of-a-kind, remarkable individuals whose association I will forever treasure.

I remember them. I was working at the LGS (The Shooter's Outpost in Santa Ana) and the sales rep visited us weekly, or was the weakly. His name was Carl. The last name escapes me after 40-some years.
