500 is a nice range session. I can appreciate the sore thumb. I hope you don't mind me asking but how do you like the Springfield 9mm 1911? Reliability? If this is considered hijacking your thread, please disregard. Thank you!

Get the bright pink one, and/or label it with your name and phone number.

Mine always seem to get lost or taken by accident.

I agree, I have the black one and it is hard to spot in my range bag. Bright color FTW. Better yet engrave your info on it with a dremel, Sharpie is easily removed with alcohol.

There's a guy on the CZ forum that converts regular Uplulas to also work with .22LR, and claims that the parts he replaces makes the whole thing more robust. I bought one of mine off Amazon and sent it directly to him. I think the total extra cost was only $10-15 and the thing is rock solid.

Just watch out for the knockoffs coming out of China. If you suspect that you've been sold a knockoff, contact Israel immediately and call in an airstrike. Of course, if that airstrike runs into an intercept package of knockoff JF-17s then you may be SOL without a legit Epson Printer to back you up and an knockoff UpLula with no enforceable warranty.

What ? why do you need a adapter of any kind ? or was this a joke ?

I use my Uplula for my 9mm's and my .45's, including single stack, works just fine.

I do agree with the idea of getting the pink ones, I got a pink one for my wife and a black one for me, the black one grew legs my second time to the range, my wife's is still with me 2 years later.

Well...I'm a little upset with most if not all who recommended a Uplula for loading a 9mm.

I've tried & tried but I still can't get it to load my LCR 9.

Sending it back for a refund!

These adaptors can be bought from Ebay shipped from China for a few dollars, free shipping. Not worth the retail price.

They come with a lanyard ring so you can attach a piece of string and key ring to it so it is less likely to walk off. Or attach a comically large wooden plant to it like bathroom keys at gas stations

The ETS CAM Magazine Speed Loader.

Nothing easier or faster. Have to place the cartridges into an ammo box holder (if not in one already) but after that it's a breeze. Your fingers don't even tough a round if you do it right. Can also be mag sensitive (ie, may not work w/your specific mags) but if it does work w/your gear, there's nothing faster or easier.

That would only work if you use factory new ammo or use containers that store rounds in the same manner as factory packaging. I have nothing but loose rounds in ammo boxes. Any time saved in loading mags with this contraption would be lost in me putting loose rounds into boxes or trays, which also take up more space in the range bag—and that means less pew pew.

The Mag Pump is interesting, but costly. I've yet to try one but it looks good on paper. https://magpump.com

Do not bother with Caldwell's Mag Charger. It's garbage. I haven't decided on throwing mine in the trash or unloading it on ebay to the next sucker. All of the review videos on youtube for it were either lucky or they cherry picked one that works. The one I got is a utter piece of dung.

Uplula is tedious and clumsy, but it's the only loader I've ever had luck with.

I buy most of my ammo in bulk and it's not all that time consuming to insert bulk ammo into ammo boxes/trays. You can do it while watching TV which is time wasted anyway. I've got five 100 round boxes of 9mm and 223 set up to take to the range when I need them. Since they are 10x10, it's a snap to load 10 rounds (or 20/30 if they have such capacity) into any mag that'll work w/the ETS quickly and easily. I seldom use up all 5 boxes and just top off the empty boxes after a trip to the range.

I don't shoot 45acp much anymore so didn't bother buying the mag loader for that caliber but I am starting to shoot a lot of 22LR again and it would be nice to have one for that caliber as well but it's too probably small and fiddly a round to work in such a device. Would also be nice to have one for 308; round may be too big for that. Just have to continue to load 22/45/308 one at a time by hand which is tedious and boring and the reason why the 9mm/223 ETS CAM mag loaders are such a pleasure to use.

Otherwise, the Uplula is really the only choice handgun rounds (except 22, of course, for which there are other devices, depending upon the make/model gun you shoot and apart from the Glock "speed loader" if you've got a 45 Glock).

LOL. I routinely work over 14 hours a day. I barely have enough time for sleep let alone TV.

If that magdump thing we’re durable I can imagine it being handy for a range to buy some and mount them for customers to use.

I see 9mm is $150 or ... $800 for the elite version???!!!! Really? $800? Lol! Uplula is $30-$40.

Yup the price is nuts. Basically the inventor is trying to recover his R&D costs as quickly as possible with a high per unit cost. But, didn't really think about how many units are likely to sell at those prices. If they make it, great. But, best of luck to them.

"Be Bop Uplula, She's My Baby..."

I recently invested in multiple mags, and load before range trips.
It's nice to have 8-10 loaded mags ready to fire out of the box.
