San Diego 80% Build Party 1/12/2013

Hey guys due to demand I will be hosting a build party on January 12. I can handle TM, Colfax, QD, and TM10 lowers. I also offer engraving but it might be too busy to get to that day. Lowers will be $50 for the first and $40 for an additional. Engraving will start at $20 and go up depending on complexity. You can see some of my work at www.jl-id.com. I will starting at 9AM and will try to schedule people on the hours so people aren't sitting around all day. I know that Rifle Gear has lowers and I know they get them from TM as does Ares.

Due to the recent events in Connecticut I will need a photo copy of your drivers license. This will not be given to anyone or used for anything but my own personal files. Is it still open for two more people? If I'm correct the receivers are $50 bucks each for first and $40 for additional? Me and my friend would be up for at one each if the price above is correct or maybe even two each. We're both paramedics so we get off shift that morning around 8 am and could be there around 9-10 am?

Lol if I'm correct is it $50 for the machining of a already owned lower reciever? That sounds more likely, if that's the case we don't have any 80% receivers so then we would be out.

No. That is a raw forging. It needs to be completely machined. You need to find an 80% lower. Check with Rifle Gear or TM. It's so cheap because it needs everything done to it.

Things are pretty sparse right now; I talked to Chris at billet80.com and he has some ready to ship. Not cheap at $140/each, but most places I've talked to are three plus weeks out from having any stock.

Good afternoon,

I have several 80% lowers on order since all of the mfg's are giving varying leadtimes. One of them is from Rohg Arms like gorillafingaz. Also have them ordered from ASA and Ares. None of them will be in by 1-12-13. Do you have plans for another BP? I will also want most of them custom engraved. I would like to know the file type that would work best for you.
