Default 250 dollar milled AK

Purchased a kit from what a country. Kit shows up in a RE USED BOX! and missing front sight block, gas block, rear sight block. When I called to request to have these parts sent to me I was met with. "don't come at me like that bro...." 2/23/13 missing parts arrived.

Ok bro I won't ever again I promise. I hope those whitening strips worked on your yellow *** teeth.

Were you irate on the phone?

There are those that respond better to honey than vinegar.
Also sometimes when something you paid for doesn't get sent to you showing a little patience, and understanding while gently reminding the company or individual of their responsibility to fulfill the agreed upon arrangement will yield better results.

(hopefully the correlation isn't missed in my reply)

On another note:
Happy to see you picking up some projects, and I look forward to drooling over the results.

What's wrong with a used box? And haven't you heard of FIFO order of processing?

Despite what you mightve heard. Im not the type to go irrate over a few missing pieces lol. I only asked him to send the parts politely. Nothing is wrong with a used box....when im ordering from a private party, not an established place of business.

If I had to guess.....
It's probably the current political climate coupled with places of business just being completely swamped with orders.
I recently ordered some parts from D&D for my Uzi build.
Got most of them but was missing the weld kit.
Currently have a phone call into them (got voicemail), and patiently awaiting a reply.

Will give him another day or two before I squeak again.

Be pleasant but Keep squeaking brother. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

The box gets tossed out anyway. It is good that they are recycling. Now missing parts is another matter.

I don't see a problem using old boxes. I ship and recieve a TON of stuff from my businesses. If I didn't reuse boxes I'd both have to spend money on lots more boxes than I do, and throw away or recycle more boxes than I care to store.

I got a kit from them in the same box. I didn't care at all. I'm buying a kit not a box.

The kit was amazing condition too. I'd buy from them again for sure. Only thing is being in Cali too and having to pay sales tax

Yeah I was missing the front sling swivel pin from my D&D order. Talked to the gentleman and they sent me two. Good company Nico, you will get your parts.

I'm buying more than just the box....if you know anything about business I was buying an experience. Send some recycled packaging with poorly inventoried merchandise and ice that cake with some kid at customer service calling customers bro.....sounds like a recipe for success!

You're buying a demiled, used parts kit. Not a necklace from Tiffany's (nice light blue box)

Got a new part from LaRue today. Part was packaged with grest care. Came with a DVD of products, two bumper stickers, a bottle of rub for the grill, a bottle opener and a beautiful scope mount with a life time warranty. Was it pricey? Yes, but this is the type of experience that keeps me buying their product.

That is what you should expect when buying a "new" component...pretty sure that the box the demiled, used parts kit came in when it left the Russian factory, if there was one, was trashed in the decade that the rifle was originaly built. Now as for the missing components, they should make good on them. I have had many great experiences buying parts kits from them.

Parts kits dont leave the country they originate from in kit form. They are imported whole and kept in bonded warehouses in the US. The ATF then inspects and oversees destruction of the rifles which are then packaged by the importer. The retailer then purchases these kits from importer. A DECENT RETAILER would then INSPECT the kits for COMPLETENESS and serviceability. Then provide the product to the customer. Yes.....its a used trashy parts kit that no one cares about.....except the customer. I hope you found that enlightening. While haters are giving their dads a sponge bath, 4th is up late building a type 3 mut gun for 250 bucks, hopefully those parts from whataKUNTry show up soon so I can finish it.

East German milled front stub

I headspaced a Russian barrel and then sneezed on it

for those haters who dont speak german, LEHR means "teaching" Ott1 and Valley are late for class.

Haters arent passing the bullet test unless their barrel swallows the neck of a casing......so dirty.

Theres no time for these haters to finish their juice boxes, The bell rang, Trench Art 101 is in session.

Hamed is from Teočak, a tiny municipality in the northeastern part Bosnia and Herzegovina. Hamed made special note of new years day so lets go back and spend the new years of 1994 with him in Bosnia.

The total population of the municipality of Teočak is estimated at approximately 9,000 inhabitants. Ethnically, Bosniaks comprise 100% of the town and municipality population of Teočak (2005 estimation data)

Demographics of town of Teočak - Krstac, 1991 census
total: 2,861
Muslims by nationality - 2,831 (98.95%)
Serbs - 15 (0.52%)
"Yugoslavs" - 10 (0.34%)
Croats - 2 (0.06%)
others and unknown - 3 (0.10%)

Maybe we dont want to spend new years with Hamed LOL "Sarajevo Radio reported on Dec 6, 1993, that Bosnian Prime Minister Haris Silajdzic had written to the President of the UN Security Council accusing the Bosnian-Serbs of using chemical weapons. The allegations apparently related to fighting around the village of Teocak in north-eastern Bosnia." The 'Yugoslav' Crisis in International Law: General Issues, Volume 1 Page. lii

Saying that you are buying an experience means you just admitted to being a trendy teenaged minded fool that can be sold any pile of crap so long at it's wrapped in shinny paper or has a star bucks logo on the cup of crap.

That statement.... I've never actually heard anyone admit it. I've heard advertising execs use it to describe how people justify spending money they don't have on some stupid product. But I've never heard some one admit do being a trendy sheep.

I will defend the box though. A new box should have been used for one reason only. UPS, Fedex, and the USPS all fall back on the box when an insurance claim is submitted. and if the box is used they can reject the claim.
Read the insurance policy most if not all do in fact say that a new corrugated box must be used on insured items.

As for buying an experience, well you did.... you just got a bad one
You went to an online junk yard what do you expect. (outside of the incorrect parts)

So much rage in this thread...

Missing parts is a problem, one I am sure they will fix. Used box, eh, it's a parts kit.

Put some antibiotics on your wrist. Look up the meaning of "LEHR". Have a cold beer.

Look forward to seeing this complete.

Yeah cause LEHR doesn't mean teaching it's direct translation is "instructive" and the literal translation would be "trainer

Regarding the box - I think I would get a little chuckle out of it but not be upset. Being called "Bro" by the guy on the phone, on the other hand, wouldn't sit well at all. I had an experience with Target Sports like that, where I was asking for the stuff they didn't include in my order and the guy went all Soprano on me!

Thank you. i have been utilizing this site for along time now. I thank everyone for all contributions.

Sorry to hear about the bad transaction. Did they ever send you the missing parts?
I also would not appreciate being called bro. And missing parts is a major problem if not resolved by the seller.
I am hoping the kit i ordered comes in as advertised. Complete and all matching numbers.

You sir are the one that is upset...I have had a great "business experience" LOL with them as I said on multiple occasions. Buy a new German coo-coo clock if you want a nice box. Impressed as I am with your building skills LOL, Again call them and get the situation resolved. Maybe you can ask them to send you the parts you were shorted in a NEW SHINEY box so that the experience will be its best. Not sure where you got that I am upset??? You are the one that received a used parts kit in the re-used box. LOL peace-out!
