If I could ever find free time I may be interested in getting together if some dates were thrown around. I'm fairly new but willing to shut up and listen to learn some stuff!

Bronco informed me that there were some legal hurdles with the reloading clinics as well as other difficulties. If he or someone else doesn't get back to you with an update on a clinic you're welcome to come to my house and check it out. I'm not a master like Bronco or some of the other instructors and veteran loaders, but I can give you a taste of the process. I also have a number for a guy who does free classes, never been to one of his classes so I know nothing about them.

I live in the bellflower area and have been reloading for some time. Nearly all of my eq. Is RCBS. I have a RCBS single stage and a rebs 4X4 progress press. I am interested in getting another progressive press and I'm trying to get as much info. As possible on the Dillion xl650 and the RCBS pro chucker 7. I've been reading what I can find online but I haven't been able to get a clear direction of which way to go. Don't get me wrong I'm happy with my 4x4 and I know there is a learning curve with every machine. I hoping to find someone that as used either both machines or at least the RCBS pro chucker to get a no B.S. opinion.

I am interested in joining the club and taking a class.
Just a suggestion.... Maybe charge a small fee to take the reloading class then the funds can go towards the club. Thanks

Same as all the new posts; whenever the legal hurdles are not a factor I would love to learn how to reload around the LB/Lakewood area.

Thanks!

I just went balls to the walls with reloading equipment and would love to learn how to use it properly. I'm another person interested in a clinic happening. Thanks!

What press did you get?

See post 643, if you want either let me know.

There's a great shop in Covina for supplies, Phillip's Wholesale, his prices are really good and even during the shortage he was honorable and didn't gouge.

I got the Hornady LnL AP with Case Feeder and a Lee Single Stage Precision Press. I might check that place out, but I'm pretty far away from Covina. Yah, PM me the info of the free class if you can. Thanks!

If any clinics get scheduled let me know. I used to help Bronco with the clinics in OC but moved up to LB. I'm always down for a reloading party.

Same here, would love to learn first hand to get the job done right. Not that I don't mind trial and error, but talking to someone is definitely the way I learn things faster

I have been looking for something like this for a while. I new to reloading and just bought a kit a couple of months back. I just need to see and learn how the last part of reloading works.
I'm interested in 223, 308 for now. Down the road maybe even learn 6.5

Mainly the CA background check law. Also ATF Stating if there was even a $1.00 fee for the class we could be charged with manufacturing ammo with out a liscence. The requirements to avoid this was student must provide all components and own the equipment being used.

We ran classes where everything was supplied. Students took home the ammo they loaded.

I know this to be fact as i was there and personally in contact with ATF.

I looked in to possibly teaching with neutered primers and an alternate to gun powder. However the point of taking home the ammo was to see it was safe and usually was more accurate than factory ammo.

About the only way to stay compliant would be to have range time after the class, where every round was accounted for. Not really an easy thing to do.

It was great while it lasted.

They're easy to find, there's some for sale right here in our market place.

I assume what you really mean is that you want help finding them at yesteryear's prices, good luck with that.
