Rules for gift buying for women:

Do not buy cleaning tools, no vacuums or washing machines. Buy your wife something SHE likes, not something you want to buy for her. Flowers are nice when there is no occasion, but not on a Birthday or Anniversary. Candy is like saying you don't know her well enough to think of anything else. Doesn't take much thought.

If all else fails buy jewelry good jewelry.
