A non-refundable fee of $10.00 Check or Money Order (payable

must accompany your application.
Incomplete applications will not be processed. Those who successfully pass the
initial screening will be charged a required follow-up processing fee.

It has to be drastically relaxed first and I don't see this happening under Alex Villanueva for political reasons. Plus, this guy is an elitist. He truly believes that carrying a firearm is a LEO's privilege.
AGREE. Don't give that guy a penny. Don't be desperate for a CCW. Also, none of the red and yellow county Sheriffs deserve funding. Kick em out or shut em down.

The green counties should keep rolling.

Only $10 to get a Good Cause decision. You lose (and they gain) only $10 if you get denied. That's not a money maker when you compare the time to accept, review, decide and inform you of a denial.

For those who live in cities served by LAPD I advise you to get your apps into them ASAP. Their budget just got a massive cut, and layoffs are likely, further slowing down the processing of CCW apps, which I'm sure are a low priority for them.
