Default 1st AR build. Buy once, cry once right?

My first build. 99%

Weight 8.6 w/o optics

Build Specs:
-Upper Receiver: Seekins Precision iRMT-R Upper
-Barrel: Rainier Arms 13.7 223 Wylde Barrel
-Forend: Seekins Precision MCSR 15" Hand Guard
-BCG: Fail Zero NiB BCG
-CH: BCM Gunfighter Mod 3
-Gas Block: Seekins Precision Gas Block
-Front Sight: Troy Folding Battle Sight
-Rear Sight:Troy Folding Battle Sight
-Muzzle: Noveske KX3
-Optics: Leupold C/QB
*still need forward assist, and dust cover. May change to a lighter optic down the road.

-Lower Receiver: Seekins Precesion Gen2 Lower
-LPK/Trigger: RRA 2 stage NM
-Buttstock: MAGS EFX-A1 Fixed Stock w/JP Captured spring
- Ca bullet button

Not sure I really like the grip that came with the lpk, maybe change it out down the road. Going to add an ambi safety selector soon. Feels well balanced just moving around in the garage, cant wait to get it out to the range.

Wow, beautiful setup!

You have succeeded in making many people have to buy new keyboards due to the drooling that shortly ensues upon seeing your rifle!

Nice! The MAGS EFX stock is one of my favorites.

KX3 is somewhere around 6 or 7 ounces IIRC. I had one on the end of a 14.5" middy, it wasn't bad at all. Overall weight for that rifle with P/A red dot was still just under 8 pounds. If anything is weighing that rifle down it's the stock. The MAGS EFX-A1 is about 1/2 pound heavier than a standard A2 stock, it's built like a tank. On the plus side, it does move the C.G. of the rifle further to the rear, which can be as beneficial up to a point as reducing weight can be.

Very nice build and gotta love seekins! Agree that you need to change your grip and through an battle arms ambi safety on there.

Sure thing man. Send me over a muzzle device that adds the correct length to keep it over 16" and I will get right on it. Might as well send me a lighter butt stock too to keep the balance nice and even.

*not to be taken too seriously
